Google offers its new Pixel 10 Pro XL in four colors: Jade, Moonstone, Obsidian, and Porcelain. These are the same colors that the Pixel 10 Pro , its smaller, compact sibling, is available in.
When it comes to colors, the firm is keeping a few of the classics while throwing in some new options for the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL . You’ll find the timeless Obsidian, a sleek black, and the clean, bright Porcelain, which is a classic white. For those wanting something more unique, there’s Moonstone. The latter is a sophisticated shade that blends slate blue with a touch of gray. This finish offers a subtle hint of color that looks a bit more interesting than a standard gray. Finally, the real showstopper is Jade, a soft pistachio green that comes with a warm gold trim.
The new 10 Pro XL not only shares its colors with the smaller Pixel 10 Pro. Most of the key specs are also the same. But the XL targets an audience that prefers large-screen smartphones. In fact, the differences between both devices are a direct consequence of the size rather than wanting to “nerf” the compact model.
The Pro XL model boasts a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with support for LTPO technology (1-120Hz refresh rates). The screen reaches up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness and is protected by a layer of Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Interestingly, the phone’s back uses the same protective glass.
Internally, the handset boasts the latest TSMC-made Tensor G5 chip, assisted by 16GB of RAM. The XL variant is available in three storage variants: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
In the camera department, Google is focusing most of its improvements on image processing. The sensors are the same as last year’s model. That is, there’s a rear camera system with 50MP (main) + 48MP (ultra-wide) + 48MP (5x telephoto) sensors. However, the telephoto and ultra-wide lenses now support macro, which is new. The 42MP front camera is the same as last year.
Lastly, there’s a decent battery with support for 39W fast charging via cable and 15W wireless charging (Qi2). The Pixel 10 Pro XL is now available for pre-order starting at $1,199 in the US.
