Another Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 smartphone has just shown us its muscles on Geekbench . The phone in question is the HONOR Magic 8 Pro, the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone.

The phone managed to score 3,563 points in the single-core, and 7,632 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. That smartphone has 12GB of RAM, though a variant with 16GB of RAM is also expected.

What else did the Geekbench listing reveal? Well, it revealed that the smartphone will ship with Android 16 out of the box. That also means that MagicOS 9 will come pre-installed on the device.
The phone surfaced under the ‘BKQ-N49’ model number on Geekbench. That’s all the information that has been shared. We did see quite a few rumors regarding the device, so we do know what to expect.
The HONOR Magic 8 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch micro quad-curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. That display will have an adaptive refresh rate (1-120Hz), of course. In other words, it will be an LTPO display.

A 7,200mAh battery is tipped for this smartphone, so it will have a huge battery pack. 120W wired charging will also be a part of the package, and the same goes for 80W wireless charging, it seems.
What about its cameras? Well, a 50-megapixel main snapper is tipped, along with a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. On the front, the device is said to offer a 50-megapixel unit.
The HONOR Magic 8 Pro is tipped to arrive in black, blue, and white color options . It is also said to weigh 222 grams, though it remains to be seen how accurate that information is. The device is expected to arrive at some point this month… to China. The global version will launch later on.
