The 75% keyboard layout is the “sweet spot” for many PC fans. This shape strikes a good balance between taking up little space on a desk and being easy to use with dedicated arrow keys. Well, ASUS just launched the ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE at CES 2026 , a 75% magnetic gaming keyboard that focuses on speed and customization.
Tired of lag? The New ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE offers near-zero input delay
The move to magnetic Hall Effect (HE) switches is the best thing about this new model. These don’t rely on physical contact like regular mechanical switches do. Instead, they use magnets to pick up key presses. Users can change the actuation point, which is the distance a key needs to travel before it registers, from a shallow 0.1mm to a deep 3.5mm.
For competitive players, this level of control is more than just a gimmick. It enables features like “Rapid Trigger,” which resets a key the instant you lift your finger. As a result, users can trigger repetitive inputs faster, which is key. There is also a “Speed Tap” mode that aims to eliminate movement conflicts in fast-paced shooters by prioritizing the most recent directional press. Combined with an 8,000Hz polling rate, the keyboard aims to eliminate as much input lag as possible, bringing delay down to a fraction of a millisecond.
Practical design and build
The internal tech is made for speed, but the physical build is made for the best user experience. ASUS used silicone and PORON to make a six-layer dampening system. This setup is made to soak up vibrations and get rid of the hollow “ping” sound that is common in gaming boards with a lot of space between the keys. This makes the typing sound better.

The keyboard also features a multi-function touch panel and a dedicated wheel. The feature enables quick adjustments to volume or even actuation sensitivity without Alt-tabbing out of a game. For those who like to tinker with their hardware, the switches are hot-swappable. This means you can pull them out and replace them with different magnetic variants without needing a soldering iron.
Portability, software, and pricing
Interestingly, the Falchion Ace 75 HE seems built for travel. It includes a protective carry case and an L-shaped USB-C cable to help keep desk setups tidy. On the software side, the company is moving away from heavy, mandatory downloads. Instead, users can configure their settings through a web-based tool called Gear Link. The latter allows for remapping keys and adjusting lighting directly from a browser, which is a welcome change for those who prefer to keep their systems lean.
The ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE keyboard is hitting shelves with a price tag of $219.99 in both black and white colors.
