AWOL Vision just announced its Aetherion series of projectors at CES 2026 . That includes the Aetherion Max and Aetherion Pro projectors. The company says that this lineup represents the “brand’s most advanced projection technology to date and is the world’s sharpest 4K triple laser ultra short throw (UST) system.”
AWOL Vision intros Aetherion projectors, its most advanced projectors ever
These projectors are built around AWOL Vision’s proprietary PixelLock technology, a new precision optical engine, and a suite of “class-leading innovations.” AWOL Vision says these projectors deliver “unprecedented performance across Speed, Scale, and Sharpness, setting a new benchmark for cinematic, sports stadium, and gaming-grade projection.”
Both of them are combining 4K clarity up to 200 inches, 1ms-class low-latency gaming, VRR, ALLM, and 6,000:1 native contrast. The Aetheron Max offers 3,300 ISO lumen brightness, while the Aetherion Pro goes up to 2,600 ISO lumens.
PixelLock tech is available in both of them
PixelLock technology is available on both of them, and it’s supposed to fuse and synchronize each pixel at scale for “surgical, edge-to-edge sharpness.” The company claims these are the first UST projectors able to preserve full 4K detail at a massive 200-inch scale.
This is what the company’s CEO had to say about Aetherion: “It’s engineered to outperform on every axis, speed for gamers, scale for home-theater and sports enthusiasts, and sharpness that outclasses every 4K UST projector. Whether in the living room, man cave, or backyard, with Aetherion, you can see the difference down to the pixel.”
These projectors have an industry-first DLC-coated lens system
These projectors also have an industry-first DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon)-coated lens system to boost light transmittance to 99.97%. Congruent pixel alignment is also on board, and it’s supposed to ensure zero color finging.
Sapphire-series optical lens is also used, while a motorized dust-seal lens cover is also a part of the package. Dolby Vision is included, as is IMAX Enhanced, HDR10+, and Filmmaker Mode support. Google Android TV 14.0 OS comes pre-installed, too.
They’ll become available in March 2026
The AWOL Vision Aetherion Max and Pro will become available in March 2026. The Aetherion Max will be priced at $4,499, while the ‘Pro’ model will cost $3,499. Early-bird pricing, limited-run perks, and Kickstarter-only bundles will go live in late January, the company said.
