Apple’s Beats has once again collaborated with Jennie of the K-pop sensation BLACKPINK. The Cupertino tech giant will introduce a new limited edition of the Beats Solo headphones in partnership with Jennie later this week. This is Jennie’s second collaboration with Beats after she became the face of a campaign for the Solo Buds earbuds last year.
Special Edition JENNIE Beats Solo 4 headphones with Ruby Red finish
The Special Edition JENNIE Beats Solo 4 pair of headphones comes in a striking matte red design , complete with “R” and “J” details. The co-branded audio accessory is a nod to the artist’s debut studio album, “Ruby,” launched in March.
Additionally, the new headphones feature two attachable red bows and a color-matched carrying case. Furthermore, one of the ear cushions features symbols inspired by Jennie printed on it.
Beats has priced the limited-edition Beats Solo 4 headphones in collaboration with Jennie at $199.99, just like the regular variants. Beats will start selling them on September 5 in Japan, South Korea, China, the UK, and the US at select Apple stores. They will also be up for grabs at Best Buy in the US.

Audio features are the same
The Special Edition JENNIE Beats Solo 4 headphones have the same audio features as the regular model. Weighing in at just 217g, these on-ear headphones feature UltraPlush ear cushions that provide durability and a soft, lightweight feel for all-day comfort. These come with a set of powerful 40mm drivers, which the brand claims deliver a punchy and fine-tuned sound to your ears as compared to the previous-gen offering.
You’ll enjoy a great high-fidelity sound, apart from the support for spatial audio . This tech, coupled with the dynamic head tracking, makes for an immersive listening experience. Notably, Beats claims the headphones feature 50 hours of playback on a single charge. If you run out of battery, a 10-minute charge will provide you with up to 5 hours of playback time.
The Bluetooth 5.3-enabled wireless headphones also offer lossless audio via USB-C or 3.5mm audio cables. They are compatible with both iOS and Android devices.
