CES 2026 has been a pretty interesting ride so far, with loads of new tech making its way to the show floor and later this year, to the shelves where consumers will be able to buy the products. Some of the best tech we’ve seen is stuff that you might not even give a second thought if you were to see it on a store shelf, but it’s absolutely worth taking a second look at, which is why we’ve decided to hand out awards to these products, because we truly feel that they’re worth it.
One of these products is the Narwal U50 . Narwal came onto the scene with robot vacuums and cordless stick vacuums, and while we have loved what Narwal has put out so far, the U50 shown off at CES is a nice breakaway from the company’s usual offerings. It’s a vacuum for your mattress that helps you keep your mattress and your sheets clean in between wash cycles. Quite honestly, that sounds like something we want, and we think you should too. That’s why we gave the Narwal U50 the Best of CES 2026 award.

Washing your sheets often is a good thing, but that doesn’t mean you should have to sleep in a bed that isn’t clean in between those wash cycles. That’s where the Narwal U50 comes in. But you want to do more than just vacuum. The Narwal U50 provides that. It uses a combination of high heat (137-degree iron-heating plus UVC sterilization) and power suction at a maximum of 16,000 Pa to ensure deep mite and allergen removal. This leaves your mattress clean and fresh. It does the same for your linens until you give them a wash.
We also really love that it has a disposable and sealed dust system that contains a disposable dust bag. When you’re done with the bag, it can just be tossed out and replaced with a new one. Best of all, is that the dust bag can hold up to two weeks’ worth of whatever it picks up. Narwal says this can be used on other furniture as well, such as couches, chairs, and anything else that’s made with upholstery that won’t be damaged by high heat. Overall, the Narwal U50 is just a useful item that anyone who cares about good hygiene should have in their home. That’s why it earned the Best of CES 2026 Award from Android Headlines.
