CES has been a packed week of new and exciting devices, from all sorts of robotic technology to big and bright TVs. CES has also been the reveal for what might be considered less exciting technology, like storage solutions, but if there were ever a storage solution that was to be considered exciting, it would be the new UGREEN NASync iDX 6011 and iDX 6011 Pro , both of which are packed with capable features and powered by AI for some very smart functions. There are quite a few features we really love about these NAS storage solutions, but the thing we love the most, and what we think others will love the most, is the AI-powered search capabilities. The iDX 6011 and iDX 6011 Pro will let you search for things the way you think. For example, you could describe a partial memory you have of something. Maybe it’s a memory about a trip you took. These systems will then search for any relevant files about that partial memory, including documents, photos, videos, you name it. You could also describe concepts or ideas as a way for these systems to find stuff. This makes digging through heaps and heaps of files and data way easier.
Especially when you consider that each of these NAS systems can support up to 196TB of storage. And if you have that much stuff stored, you’re gonna want an easy way to search through it all. In addition to these AI-powered search features, the iDX 6011 and iDX 6011 Pro will let you make voice memos, and you can upload them and have them transcribed. That seems pretty nifty. There’s also an AI-powered file organization system and an AI chatbot you can talk to and ask questions about files or other data stored on the drives within the NAS. Overall, these are some super-smart NAS systems, and the award is well-deserved.
