A well-known tipster has just shared another tidbit about Samsung ’s upcoming flagship. The black version of the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a black frame , unlike its predecessor. Therefore, its bezel will seem wider this time around.

What Ice Universe, a tipster who shared the news, is referring to is the standard black model of the Galaxy S26 Ultra . It seems like Samsung will ditch the silver frame and replace it with a black one.

He said that “the overall visual bezel is inevitably wider.” That sure sounds like it will seem to be wider, due to the black frame, not that it will necessarily be wider. Also, it will be interesting to see how black the phone will actually be, and the same goes for its bezel.
Smartphone manufacturers have a loose understanding of the word ‘black’. They tend to use that color name for colors that are more dark gray than black. We still didn’t see the Galaxy S26 Ultra leak out in that color, so we can’t know.
We already know what the phone will look like
We did, however, see the phone’s design already. In fact, we’ve exclusively revealed its design a while back . The device won’t be that much different than the Galaxy S25 Ultra design-wise. It will have more rounded edges and a dedicated camera island for three of its cameras on the back.
The device is expected to arrive in January, despite the fact that some rumors mentioned February and March. The Samsung Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ will launch alongside this smartphone. The Galaxy S26 Ultra will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 only, the Exynos 2600 variant won’t be available.
