Chrome for Android will make it easier to access your bookmarks . Google will bring a similar solution to what the desktop version of Chrome offers, though you won’t be forced to use your bookmarks in that manner .
Chrome browser on dekstop, much like pretty much every other browser, has a bookmarks bar below the address bar. That’s the default state with desktop browsers, even though you can change it.
Chrome for Android will let you toggle on the bookmarks bar
Well, that feature is on its way to Chrome for Android, as it already appeared for some users. If you check out the screenshot below (courtesy of Android Authority), you’ll see what we’re talking about.

There will be a setting that allows you to toggle on the bookmarks bar, just like you would on a desktop. Once you do that, the bookmarks bar will appear right below the address bar, as you can see below.

Needless to say, this will make accessing your bookmarks truly seamless. It’s much faster than having to tap the three vertical dots and then tapping Bookmarks, which is an option down the list.
The good news is that Google won’t force you to use this feature. It will be an option for those of you who want to use it, which is the best way to go about it. Having such choices is great, needless to say.
This feature seems to be coming to wide screen devices only
We do have some bad news, though. This feature doesn’t seem to be available for regular Android phones, though, only for those with wide-screen devices. In other words, it’s popping up for tablets and some foldables.
We’re not sure if Google plans on offering something similar on regular slabs. It would be nice to see, as it can be incorporated. As mentioned earlier, having options is a good thing, so we do hope that regular phones with non-wide screens will get the feature as well.
