Clicks Technology has announced the launch of a new Power Keyboard. This is a compact keyboard designed for smart devices like phones, tablets, and even TVs, apparently. The Power Keyboard also offers a 2,150mAh battery that powers itself and can also wirelessly top up your phone battery via MagSafe or Qi2 wireless charging.

The Clicks Power Keyboard features ergonomically shaped keys with optimized key pressure, QWERTY layout, directional keys, and a dedicated number row. The Clicks Power Keyboard offers a range of slider positions to adjust to different phone sizes. It will also work in landscape mode for a comfortable typing experience. It attaches to smartphones using a strong MagSafe or Qi2 magnetic connection and can be used with existing cases as well.
You can also connect it to your phone or smart device over Bluetooth without physically attaching it to your device. It’ll draw power from the built-in battery to function over Bluetooth.

The company notes that by moving typing off the touchscreen, the keyboard frees up the screen space consumed by on-screen keyboards. Familiar keyboard shortcuts supported by iOS and Android tech carry over. One can customize the keyboard using the Clicks app that’s available for iOS and Android . You can personalize settings like key behavior, backlighting, and typing preferences.
When connected to a smart TV, the Power Keyboard eliminates the frustrating experience of navigating through the on-screen keyboard. For tablets, it eliminates the need to carry bulky full-size keyboards, thereby making working on a plane or at a cafe a total bliss. The Clicks Power Keyboard is now up for pre-orders, with availability set for Spring. It’ll cost $109, but will be available for $79 as an early-bird offer.
