Motorola (and Lenovo) is holding a big event at CES next month, so big, they are using The Sphere. And Motorola seems to already be teasing what they have in store.
Brands like Motorola tend to send out holiday gift packages to the media every year. Motorola sends out some of the best, if I’m being honest. And this year, they sent out some coffee, cookies from a bakery in Chicago, but also some hints about Lenovo Tech World on January 6.

Within the gift basket, there is also a book that reads “Every fold reveals a possibility”. There’s also an invitation saying “We’re getting ready to unfold new perspectives at Lenovo Tech World” with the date below it. Now, this book could just be hinting at a new Razr, but because of the orientation, many believe that it is actually going to be a book-style foldable, like the Galaxy Z Fold 7, or the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold. But we’ll have to wait and see.
Motorola has not yet released a book-style foldable
Motorola has been in the foldable game for a while now, but it has yet to release a book-style foldable. They’ve only done flip phones, using the iconic Razr branding. We’ve asked in the past about a fold, and Motorola has always said they are focused on making “the best flip phone”. But that could change next month.
Of course, Lenovo, Motorola’s parent company, has also been into foldables, specifically with their laptops. They have foldable laptops that are all screen, as well as rollable screens and even rotating screens, which we saw at IFA.
So, CES could be the time that we see a Razr Fold or whatever Motorola decides to call this foldable. Honestly, if Motorola does finally launch a fold, it might be one of the best folds on the market.
