The Pixel Buds Pro 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the Pixel Buds Pro that was released three years ago, and they didn’t disappoint. I’ve been using the Pixel Buds Pro 2 for the past couple of months and absolutely love them. Not only is the audio top-notch, but they are also extremely comfortable. Thanks to the nub on the side, you can put these in your ear and kind of twist them in. Unlike the original Pixel buds, which had a longer prong on the side, the new ones are more comfortable to wear. It is unlike the original Pixel Buds Pro, which would fall out of the ears very easily.
Battery life on these is also very good. Google is saying up to 8 hours of continuous playback and up to 30 hours with the included charging case. That’s pretty good for a pair of earbuds that are so small.
Inside the Pixel Buds Pro 2 is the new Tensor A1 chipset that powers active noise cancellation and also delivers powerful sound. The ANC is about twice as good as on the original Pixel Buds Pro, and honestly, it’s really impressive. These earbuds can also detect conversation and pause your music, so you can actually talk to whoever is talking to you. This is thanks to Transparency mode, so you can actually hear what’s going on around you.
