The Samsung Exynos 2600 processor is right around the corner, and a well-known tipster just revealed its key parameters . The tipster in question is Ice Universe, who shared the info via X.
Key parameters of the Exynos 2600 have just surfaced, ahead of the Galaxy S26 launch
He once again reiterates that the Exynos 2600 will fuel the Samsung Galaxy S26 . In fact, it’s expected to fuel some models of both the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ , but not the Galaxy S26 Ultra . The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ will alos utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, so it’ll all depend on in which region you buy the device in.
In any case, Ice Universe says that this will be a deca-core CPU . In other words, it will have 10 CPU cores. He did mention that the prime CPU core will be clocked at 3.9GHz, while its three high-performance cores will be clocked at 3.25GHz.
What’s left? Well, six mid CPU cores, which will be clocked at 2.75GHz, it would seem. What he did not mention is that these CPU cores will be based on Arm’s new Lumex platform, which should improve AI performance too.
It will be a deca-core CPU with the AMD Juno GPU
Furthermore, the GPU that Samsung will use is the AMD Juno, which will be clocked at 985MHz. This GPU is based on the RDNA architecture, and it supports OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 3.0, and Vulkan 1.3 APIs for graphics.
That’s basically all the information that the tipster shared thus far. The chip is right around the corner, as it will be used in the Galaxy S26 series, which is expected to arrive in January or February next year.
We’re not sure if the Exynos 2600 will be announced prior to that launch event, though. It’s possible Samsung will unveil it at the same time as its new flagships, it remains to be seen.
Those are the first phones that this chip will be utilized in, though, that’s for sure. It remains to be seen if the Exynos 2600 will be able to compete with the likes of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Dimensity 9500, and the Apple A19 Pro. Those are the most powerful mobile chips on the market at the moment.
