FOSSiBOT has announced a new smartphone , the F107 Pro. The company says that this is the “world’s first rugged phone with starlight night vision.” The company says that this phone can “see in the dark.”
Let’s start with its design, however. You’ll notice that this is a real unit of a phone. It does look like a rugged device, as it’s well-protected all around. It does have a huge battery (more on that later), which is why it’s thicker than usual. Well, that and its ruggedness, of course.
It includes a flat display with a centered display camera hole up top. Three cameras sit on its back, while the sides slope down towards the backplate, which is narrower than the front of the phone. Considering the phone’s thickness, this is the way to go.
The Starlight Night Vision camera can see in the dark… in color
Now, regarding its night vision. It relates to the camera tech used here, of course. The phone has a 200-megapixel main camera, and also a Starlight Night Vision camera, as FOSSiBOT calls it. The company says that this camera goes above “the limitations of conventional infrared vision once and for all.”
Regular night vision cameras deliver black and white vision and require infrared illuminators to function. Well, this one does not. The Starlight Night Vision technology “delivers vibrant full-color images even in complete wilderness darkness – no artificial light needed.”

This tech leverages ambient light reflection to enable nighttime observation. The FOSSiBOT F107 Pro features an f/1.0 super-wide aperture lens and a high-sensitivity AX620Q sensor, which dramatically increases light intake and sensitivity.
This system can capture even the faintest traces of ambient light (starlight, moonlight) to maintain full-color imaging at an extreme 0.0005 lux darkness. It harnesses refracted and scattered astronomical light.

A 200-megapixel main camera is also included, along with an ultrawide camera that doubles as a macro shooter
That 200-megapixel main camera, on the other hand, is Samsung’s S5KHP3SP03 sensor. It is a 1/1.4-inch sensor, and it’s paired with a 6P lens and an f/1.95 aperture lens. It also offers PDAF autofocus.
The third camera on the back is a 50-megapixel ultrawide unit, which doubles as a macro shooter too. It uses Sony’s IMX766 sensor and an f/1.79 aperture. A 32-megapixel camera sits on the front side of the phone, it uses Sony’s IMX616 sensor. The FOSSiBOT F107 Pro also supports EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization).
MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 5G chip fuels this phone, which is a 4nm processor. The company also included 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage here. You can also expand that RAM via virtual RAM, while storage expansion is also supported.
You’ll find a gigantic 28,000mAh battery inside of this phone
A gigantic 28,000mAh battery sits inside of this phone. The company says it can keep the phone alive for up to 30 days on standby. The phone supports 66W charging and 10W reverse charging. It can also double as a power bank when you need it to.

This phone is MIL-STD-810H and IP68/IP69K certified. It’s protected by the Gorilla Glass for scratch resistance. There is a 5.95-inch fullHD+ display included on the front, and it supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
A special price is available during the launch week
You’ll also find a “super-bright flashlight” on the back of the phone, for when you need it. This phone is usually priced at $549, but during the initial launch (July 21-27), you can grab it for only $439.99. This offer is valid only if you order from FOSSiBOT’s official website , though.
If you place your order during launch week, you’ll also enter the F1200 Power Station giveaway. That power station is worth $599, so… it’s a really nice prize. You can enter by clicking here .
