The Botslab G980H is a 4-channel dash camera, which is among the products showcased at CES 2026 . Granted, this product was not initially announced at the trade show, but it’s there, and it managed to attract attention.
This camera is packed with features, and it’s also quite compact at the same time. It’s a 4K camera which can capture license plates even at night, without a problem, says the company.
The Botslab G980H dashcam actually has four cameras on board
Why is it called a 4-channel camera? Well, because it can record not only the front, but the back, and the sides as well. This is a complete solution for your car. One camera to take care of everything, basically, and give you some peace of mind.
The front camera can record videos at a 170-degree angle, while there’s also a 150-degree rear camera. The ones on the side record videos at a 120-degree angle. You get complete coverage between those four cameras. The side cameras also feature a detachable magnetic mount, giving you some more versatility.
There are three modes to choose from
This setup actually offers three modes (hardware kit required): time-lapse recording, sentry mode, and collision detection. Time-lapse recording captures footage at 1 frame per second for continuous monitoring while conserving storage. Sentry mode automatically records a 1-minute emergency video when the front camera detects movement within 5 meters. Collision detection locks a 1-minute video upon impact to preserve evidence.
Night vision should be great here, too. There’s an f/1.8 aperture at your disposal, and an infrared LED as well. Voice control is also supported, not to mention a 3.18-inch touchscreen.
GPS is included, as is a 5.8GHz Wi-Fi chip
The Botslab G980H also has GPS included, and can accurately record your vehicle’s location, speed, and travel route. You can even generate dynamic route animations on your PC thanks to DVplayer software.
The camera also features a 5.8GHz Wi-Fi chip, which delivers 300% faster transfer speed compared to traditional 2.4GHz networks. You can easily transfer your 4K video content thanks to that.
The super capacitor ensures stable performance in -20°C to 70°C temperatures, claims the company. That should prevent data loss and extend the lifespan of the product.
