Samsung appears to be readying its new mid-range model, the Galaxy A57. No brownie points for guessing that this will succeed the Galaxy A56 from earlier this year. The Galaxy A5x series offers pretty decent value for your money, with the right mix of software and hardware tricks. We expect no less from the upcoming model as well. Hinting at what’s in store for us, the Galaxy A57 has appeared on Geekbench . This also implies that a potential announcement could happen in the near future.
Samsung’s Galaxy A57 appears on Geekbench
A new Samsung phone with a pretty obvious model number, SM-A576B, has appeared on Geekbench . This is nothing but the Galaxy A57. The listing shows it has managed to score 1,311 in the single-core round and 4,347 in the multi-core segment. These scores are pretty average, considering this is Samsung’s premium mid-range model, but seemingly an improvement over the Galaxy A56.
Furthermore, the phone will boot Android 16 OS, which should be based on One UI 8 or 8.5 skin. This particular model packs 12GB RAM on board.

New Exynos chip at the helm
Earlier reports note that the Galaxy A57 will feature the Exynos 1680 chip. This is said to bring a new CPU configuration and 2x GPU performance over the predecessor. The Geekbench listing now reportedly reiterates that Exynos 1680 is at the helm. This 8-core CPU has a single core ticking at 2.91GHz, 4 cores at 2.60GHz, and 3 cores at 1.95GHz. The source code of the Geekbench section reveals the Samsung Xclipse 550 GPU for graphics.
What the Geekbench listing doesn’t reveal is the display, camera, and other details of the Galaxy A57. It may get a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 5,000mAh battery, and a triple camera setup. The recent 3C listing revealed the phone will get 45W charging speeds.
