The news comes via Android Authority , which spotted some texts from code references that point to the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro’s “Find Your Phone” support . Per the report, the spotted text reads, “ Pressing the case button makes your phone rings if it is connected to your phone. ” Well, that pretty much sums up what’s the feature all about.
Assuming how earbuds and smartphones stay connected, it’s given that the “Find Your Phone” would only work when the earbuds are in range and have an active Bluetooth connection with the phone. Not to forget, The news outlet also found that the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro case has a speaker cutout on the left of the USB-C port.
As you may know Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and other earbuds in the market already support the “Find My Buds” feature. Samsung appears to be adding the same support for the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. Basically, the function allows you to use your phone to find earbuds. The speaker on the case emits sound, which makes it easier to find them.
