Following the Samsung Galaxy S26 series launch date, the release date has been tipped as well. The launch date came from Evan Blass, a well-known tipster, and it’s February 25. The release date, based on this report from Dealabs, is March 11.
Dealabs is a French website, and not our regular source of such information, so take it with a grain of salt. They do seem rather confident that the information is correct, though.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series release date has just surfaced
If the information is accurate, Samsung will start selling the Galaxy S26 series phones on March 11 . It’s possible that people who pre-ordered the devices will start getting them earlier, though, of course.
As many of you know already, the Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ , and Galaxy S26 Ultra are coming. We were the first to share the designs of the last two phones.
Samsung initially planned on releasing the Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Edge in addition to the ‘Ultra’ model. Then, at the last moment, the company reconsidered, mostly because of the poor sales of the Galaxy S25 Edge.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge could still arrive… at some point
Now, the ultra-thin Galaxy S26 Edge could still become a reality at some point. The latest report claims that Samsung did not fully cancel it, despite what earlier rumors have been saying. The phone got certified and could become a reality later this year.
There don’t seem to be many people out there who are interested in ultra-thin phones. Well, at least not for ultra-thin phones that don’t have silicon-carbon batteries. The Galaxy S25 Edge’s battery capacity was far from impressive, plus the company also sacrificed the third camera on the back.
The main Galaxy S26 lineup has the same design language this time around. The Galaxy S26 Ultra will be more similar to the other two phones than any of its predecessors were.
