The Samsung Galaxy S26 series won’t bring major upgrades to the table , that’s not a secret at this point. Well, Ice Universe, a well-known tipster, wanted to show that in comparison to the Galaxy S25 series.

Comparison tables show lack of upgrades for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series

The tipster created three comparison tables, showing what’s different between this-gen and next-gen Galaxy S phones. It pits the Galaxy S25 vs S26, Galaxy S25+ vs S26+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra vs S26 Ultra.

Let’s start with the smallest phones. You can see the comparison below. You can see that the Galaxy S26 model will include a slightly larger display, but its brightness will remain the same, as will its refresh rate.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 will fuel it, depending on the market. That’s an upgrade over the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The RAM will remain unchanged, while one less storage option will be available.

It seems like the cameras will remain mostly unchanged, while a slightly larger battery will be used. The charging speed will remain at 25W, while the new model could be slightly thinner and slightly heavier.

The Galaxy S26+ will bring even less changes than the Galaxy S26

Something similar can be said for the Galaxy S26+ as well, actually. The phone will get the same chip upgrade, but it will see even less changes than we’ve mentioned for the Galaxy S26, actually.

The Galaxy S26+ will include the same display size, brightness, refresh rate, RAM, and storage options. The same goes for the cameras, battery, and charging speed, it seems. It will be slightly heavier, and the thickness will remain basically the same.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra will offer a better chip, faster charging, and more

What about the Galaxy S26 Ultra ? Well, that phone will have the same display size, but newer tech will be used. The brightness will remain the same, as will refresh rate and RAM, and storage options too. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 will be used instead of the Snapdragon 8 Elite, though.

The main, ultrawide, and front cameras will stay the same, at least the sensors will, while the telephoto unit will be even smaller than on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The main camera will get a wider aperture lens, though.

The battery size will still be 5,000mAh, but the phone’s charging could be faster at 60W. It will be slightly thinner and slightly lighter as well.
