Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Tab S11 family very soon; it could happen at IFA next month, since Samsung does have a press conference in Berlin on September 4. But, ahead of that announcement, Nieuwe , a blog out of the Netherlands, was able to find press renders of the new Galaxy Tab S11. This comes after they shared renders of the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra just a few days ago.
And, it looks like a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. There’s really nothing surprising here, in terms of design. It still has some pretty thick bezels, though this is the base model and not the Ultra, so that makes sense. It is also apparently coming with the S Pen still, as it is featured in these press renders.
What we’re also seeing in these renders is that the Galaxy Tab S11 is sticking with a single camera once again. Which is perfectly fine on a tablet. Your phone should be the one doing all of your picture and video taking. And this will be fine for the few instances that you need to take a photo with your tablet.
Galaxy Tab S11 could feature an 11-inch display, powered by Dimensity 9400
Last year, with the Galaxy Tab S10 series, Samsung used MediaTek for the first time to power any of its devices. Let alone a flagship tablet. Now it hasn’t been perfect, but the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ did perform quite well in the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra last year. And now we’re seeing the Dimensity 9400 inside the Galaxy Tab S11. It’ll also come with 12GB of RAM with up to 512GB of storage.
It’s rumored to be powered by an 8400mAh capacity battery as well, with 45W wired charging, and of course, we have speakers tuned by AKG. Samsung has some really impressive speakers on their tablets. A big reason for that is their acquisition of HARMAN many years ago, so all of their speakers are tuned by AKG.
As mentioned, we do expect this to be announced next month, likely at IFA, which officially begins September 5, though their press conference is on September 4.
