If you’ve ever built your own PC , chances are you might be familiar with Gigabyte. The brand is mostly known for its GPUs, motherboards, and gaming monitors. This is why it doesn’t come as a surprise that at CES 2026 , Gigabyte has taken the wraps off new computing hardware. But it doesn’t stop there, the company is also hopping on the AI bandwagon with some new products and a plan to get on board the AI gravy train.
Getting serious about AI

Gigabyte’s pushing forward with what it calls its “AI Forward” initiative , essentially building an entire ecosystem of AI-capable products. The idea is to make AI computing accessible at every level. We’re talking about massive data centers down to regular desktop PCs. Instead of forcing everyone to rely on cloud-based AI services, Gigabyte wants to give users the option to run AI on-device. This is not only faster, but also offers better privacy
The company also unveiled its W775-V10 deskside supercomputer. This is basically a desktop PC, but built specifically for AI development work. It’s powered by NVIDIA’s GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop platform and comes with a massive 775GB of memory. That’s way more than your typical gaming rig needs. However, if you’re training AI models or running complex simulations, having extra memory will make a huge difference.
The company is also rolling out its AI TOP desktop series, which includes models like the AI TOP ATOM and AI TOP 100 Z890. These are designed to run AI applications locally on your computer rather than relying on cloud services. Gigabyte even created software called AI TOP Utility to make setting up and managing AI tasks easier. It’s perfect for regular users who might not be tech experts.
New hardware for PC builders

Going back to its core business, Gigabyte showed off new motherboards at CES 2026 . This includes the X870E AORUS XTREME X3D AI TOP, which is built specifically for AMD’s latest Ryzen 9000 X3D processors. It boasts a new feature called X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 that automatically optimizes performance in real time. Then there’s the X870E AERO X3D WOOD, which features actual wood-grain textures for a unique look.
It’s also hard to ignore Gigabyte’s work with DDR5 CQDIMM memory. The company has managed to get 256GB of RAM running at DDR5-7200 speeds using just two memory sticks. In the past, running that much memory meant slower speeds and more modules taking up space on your motherboard.
Gigabyte hasn’t forgotten about its GPUs either. The company unveiled its new AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 , which uses something Gigabyte calls WINDFORCE HYPERBURST Cooling. This basically separates the PCB design to allow better airflow and keep temperatures down during intense gaming sessions. For laptop users, there’s the more portable AORUS RTX 5060 Ti AI BOX with 16GB of VRAM.
