Google has officially announced its new Google Pixel 10 Pro , alongside its three other siblings, the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. All of these phones will be launching, save for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, will be launching on August 28, which is when they will ship. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold ships a bit later on October 9. The Pixel 10 Pro, like the other two non-foldable phones in the lineup this year, will launch in four colors.
These colors include Moonstone, Jade, Porcelain, and Obsidian. The latter two, Porcelain and Obsidian, are what you should be familiar with and should look pretty much the same as past devices with these colors. Moonstone and Jade are the newcomers here. Jade is a brighter shade of green with gold trim, not too unlike the gold trim and Hazel color of the Pixel 7 Pro. The Moonstone, on the other hand, is a more muted blue color that is almost like a blue silver color.
Google’s Pixel 10 Pro features 16GB of RAM and uses Google’s new processor
The Pixel 10 Pro, like the other Pixel 10 series phones, comes with Google’s new Tensor G5 processor. It’s manufactured on a 3nm process, and it has a TPU that should provide a significant boost to performance compared to the TPU in the Tensor G4. About a 60% improvement according to Google. The CPU is also faster, by about 34%.
In terms of RAM and storage, the Pixel 10 Pro comes with 16GB of RAM and starts at 128GB of storage. That being said, Google will be offering models with 256GB and 512GB as well. Another improvement Google made is to the battery. Google says it can last for 30+ hours now on a single charge. That’s slightly better than the 24+ hours Google rated for the Pixel 9 series devices.
The Pixel 10 Pro price will start at $999.99 for the 128GB model. So, depending on how much storage you want or need, the phone could end up fairly pricey.
