Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold specs
The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is the most expensive member of the Pixel 10 series. It’s also the only foldable smartphone in the series. This handset is fueled by the Google Tensor G5 chip, the same processor used in other Pixel 10 devices. This is a 3nm chip, and the very first TSMC-made Tensor chip. The Titan M2 coprocessor is here too, for security. Google offers 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM here along with 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.0 flash storage. The storage is not expandable, though.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold has two displays, of course. It includes an 8-inch main OLED panel. This is a Super Actua Flex display, and it’s an LTPO panel. It offers a resolution of 2152 x 2076 pixels, and it has an adaptive refresh rate (1-120Hz). The peak brightness here is 3,000 nits. This display has HDR support. The other display, a non-foldable one, is a 6.4-inch panel, an Actua display. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio, and this is an OLED panel with a 2364 x 1080 resolution. The refresh rate is adaptive (60-120Hz), while the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects it. HDR is supported here, while the peak brightness is 3,000 nits.
It has a bigger battery than its predecessor
A 5,015mAh battery is used by this phone, while the device supports 30W wired and 15W Qi2 wireless charging. Google also included Bluetooth 6 here, along with Wi-Fi 7 and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. This phone is IP68 certified, which is great, and it comes with Android 16. Google promised 7 years of OS, security, and Pixel Drop updates for the phone. When folded, the phone measures 155.2 x 76.3 x 10.8mm. When unfolded, it measures 155.2 x 150.4 x 5.2mm. What colors does the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold come in?
All the other Pixel 10 models come in four color options . What about the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, though? Well, that phone has been announced in two colors, Jade and Moonstone. Jade color is arguably the more flashy one, while the Moonstone is the gray-ish color many of you will like. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are also available in those very same color options, the same goes for the Jade color, actually. You can see the Pixel 10 Pro Fold in both of its color variants below.
What new upgrades does the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold have over the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold?
The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is not that much different than its predecessor. Some people expected it to be a lot lighter, amongst other things, but that didn’t happen. It does not compete with the likes of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and OPPO Find N5 in the thinness and weight departments, but it has a number of other upsides. Let’s see what improvements Google made compared to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, and what features to look forward to in general.
A TSMC-made Tensor chip
The Google Tensor G5 fuels the entire Pixel 10 series, including the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. That is the very first chip made by TSMC. It’s made using TSMC’s latest 3nm node, and it delivers a 60% more powerful TPU. It also has a 34% faster CPU and a number of other advantages. It’s made for Pixel devices.
Qi2 charging
The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold supports full-fledged Qi2 charging. Yes, it has magnets built-in, which is another reason for it not being as thin as the Fold 7, for example. It supports wireless charging up to 15W.
Brand new (gearless) hinge
Google also made a new hinge for this year’s Pixel Fold device. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold comes with a brand new “gearless” hinge. It’s supposed to be notably better than last year’s, which was not bad at all.
Outstanding water and dust resistance
The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is the very first foldable smartphone to offer an IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. That is a standard water and dust certification for slab phones, but not for foldables. This device trumps the competition with this rating.
Improved drop performance
Google also made sure to emphasize that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold does offer improved drop resistance. So it’s a more durable phone all around, if you consider this, the new hinge, and an IP68 certification.
Larger battery
The company also included a larger battery this time around. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold features a 5,015mAh battery on the inside, while its predecessor has a 4,650mAh battery. That’s quite an improvement.
UFS 4.0
After years of using rather dated UFS 3.1 flash storage, Google has finally decided to improve. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold comes with UFS 4.0 storage. It is not only a lot faster, but it’s also more power efficient than UFS 3.1.
What cases are available for the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold?
Google is offering the so-called Pixelsnap cases for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Those are the company’s cases that are made out of silicone. They are compatible with wireless charging, and have also been drop-tested for “everyday oops moments”, says the company. That case is available in Moonstone, Jade, and Obsidian colors, all of which you can see below. The purchase link is also available below, as the case costs $69.99.
What other, first-party Pixelsnap accessories are available?
Google is offering a Pixelsnap case for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, but that’s not all. There are several other Pixelsnap accessories available from the company, official ones. We’ll talk about each of the three of them, and include purchase links below.
Pixelsnap Ring Stand
The Pixelsnap Ring Stand is the cheapest and simplest Pixelsnap accessory, aside from a case, of course. It is basically a popsocket for your device, a very nice one. When you need it, you can pop out the metal piece, which helps you hold the device, and it also serves as a stand. This accessory costs $29.99 and comes in a gray color.
Pixelsnap Charger
The Pixelsnap Charger is Google’s Qi2 charger. It is a simple puck that magnetizes on the back of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. This is basically the equivalent to Apple’s MagSafe charging puck. It’s priced at $39.99.
Pixelsnap Charger with Stand
The third accessory is the most expensive one. It’s the Pixelsnap Charger with Stand, which is essentially the Pixelsnap Charger, which we talked about, combined with a folding stand. It is priced at $69.99, and comes in a white color only.

Should I buy the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold?
We’ve seen quite a few truly compelling foldables in the market in the last year or so. When it comes to the US, the choices are not plentiful. The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, and a very compelling one at that. It may not be as thin or as light as the Fold 7, but it has its advantages. If you love Google’s software, and what the company did with the Pixel 10 Pro Fold hardware-wise, and want a foldable in general… this is the phone for you. Just keep in mind you’ll need to wait until October to get your hands on one.
