We’ve been using the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold for a little over a week now, and actually took it to London along with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the OPPO Find N5 to do a camera comparison. These are very different cameras here, and obviously my favorite is the OPPO Find N5. But how does each one compare to each other? Let’s find out.
How we compared these three cameras
Here’s a quick outline of how these cameras were tested. To ensure that they were the most apples-to-apples-to-apples comparison possible:
- All cameras were on the same tripod with almost the same composition.
- All cameras were using the same focal length.
- All cameras used their default zoom length (so 3x on Fold 7 and N5, 5x on Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
- All cameras were using their default options, with tap to focus.
Video
Here’s a quick video of how the three cameras did. We’ll let you decide which one did the best.

Camera
Now, moving onto the camera. Let’s start with that Ultrawide. And honestly, it wasn’t that good on any of the foldables. I don’t normally use the ultrawide that much, so I did not take many ultrawide shots for this comparison, but here’s a very night-and-day comparison here.

As you can see, all three phones had very different color tones for this photo. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 was really washed out, while the Pixel 10 Pro Fold was more true-to-life colors but it did still blow out the building in the background. So here, I think the OPPO did the best. But I could see why people would prefer Google.
Next, let’s jump over to the telephoto. As mentioned already, this was not quite apples to apples, since these three phones have different telephoto cameras. While the OPPO Find N5 can crop into 6x on its telephoto sensor, we opted to keep it to their default telephoto resolutions. Which is 3x on the OPPO Find N5 and Fold 7, and 5x on the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Obviously, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold does zoom in quite a bit more, though it does have a lot less resolution. What we noticed in this first picture is that the colors were off. Especially on the water in River Thames in London. It’s much darker than it should be, and it looks like the OPPO Find N5 did the best here with the colors. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 did pretty well too, but the buildings in the background did lose a good amount of detail.
The next photo, the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold seemed to do the best here. Despite the lower resolution and further zooming distance. Again with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, it did lose a lot of detail in the background. Honestly, I’d be happy with either the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold or OPPO Find N5 here.
And in the final photo, we did see some missing details on the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold here, but it didn’t blow out that building quite as bad as in other photos. With the Fold 7 being a bit cooler and more saturated, and the OPPO Find N5 being the most accurate.
Now let’s talk about the main camera. The images in the gallery above were all taken at 1x. Surprisingly, Google’s 1x is a longer focal length than the Fold 7 and Find N5 for some reason. But these were all taken at 1x and on default settings.
Without going over each photo, the one thing that I did notice here is that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 does still tend to be darker, or over-saturated in a lot of instances. While the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and OPPO Find N5 were much closer to what it looked like in real life. Most of the time, I favored the OPPO Find N5, and I think that comes down to it having more details in its pictures.
Wrap up
Now, which phone would you choose? They are all pretty good cameras, but obviously some are better than others. For me, I’d most likely choose the OPPO Find N5, even still. Which is amazing since it came out before these other two foldables. It is also more versatile in my experience, which is important when you are a content creator for a living.
