Google’s Pixel 10 Pro was officially announced on August 20, and its release date is actually pretty close at hand. Pre-orders for the Google Pixel 10 Pro , alongside the other phones in the lineup, have gone live on the same day as the announcement.

As for the actual Google Pixel 10 Pro release date, the phone will ship by August 28, and will be available in stores on that same day. That means you should be able to have your Pixel 10 Pro in your hands close to the end of next week.

The Pixel 10 Pro price starts at $999.99, and this is for the 128GB model of the phone. If you need more storage, Google does offer the phone with 256GB and 512GB storage options as well. Then there’s the 1TB option if you really need a massive amount of storage. These will, of course, increase the price of the phone. Luckily, Google and other retailers, such as carriers, will have offers available that include trade-in discounts. So you have a good chance at saving money.

Delivering studio-quality photos with the power of Tensor G5

Google’s next generation of the Tensor chip is here, the Tensor G5, and it’s an integral part of what’s powering the Google Pixel 10 Pro. Familiar favorites in the camera department are being joined by improved image quality and a host of new features. It also comes with new enhanced optical stabilization for video recording, so your videos end up coming out super-smooth.

While the Tensor G5 does come with several improvements over last year’s Tensor G4, it won’t be on the same level as Qualcomm’s current flagship chipset. If you’re looking for an extremely high-performance device, say, for mobile games, this isn’t it. The phone should perform well in tons of areas, however. Like with AI, thanks to Gemini integration, and the Pixel phones always do exceptionally well in the camera department. It shouldn’t be any different this year. In terms of other Pixel 10 Pro specs , the phone also comes with 16GB of RAM, so it has plenty of memory for running tasks.
