The Google Pixel 10 Pro is one of the company’s new flagship smartphones. It was announced along with three other phones in the series, the Pixel 10 , Pixel 10 Pro XL , and Pixel 10 Pro Fold . As far as regular slab phones are concerned, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are the flagship offerings. The Pixel 10 is compelling and all, but it does lack a number of features the ‘Pro’ models deliver. The two phones also have better cameras than the ‘Pro Fold’ variant.
Each of the other models will have separate articles like this, while in this one, we’re focusing on the Pixel 10 Pro in specific. This is a compact flagship from Google , and in this article, we’ll try to give you as much information about it as possible. That way, you’ll be able to make an informed purchasing decision. Google Pixel 10 Pro specs
The Google Pixel 10 Pro is one of Pixel 10 flagship smartphones. It’s technically more powerful than both the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. It’s essentially a smaller variant of the Pixel 10 Pro XL. This smartphone is, just like every other phone in the series, fueled by the Google Tensor G5. That chip is paired with a Titan M2 coprocessor, and Google also included 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM here. The company also allows you to choose between four storage options. You can choose between 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB models. The storage is not expandable, though.
This phone features a 6.3-inch Super Actua display. This is an LTPO OLED panel with a resolution of 2856 x 1280, and it’s flat. Its refresh rate can jump from 1 to 120Hz, and the aspect ratio is 20:9. The Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects this panel, while the peak brightness is 3,300 nits, in theory. HDR is supported. A 4,870mAh battery is used here, while the phone supports 30W wired and 15W Qi2 wireless charging with magnets. A charger is not included in the retail box, though.
There are three cameras on the back of the Pixel 10 Pro. A 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.68 aperture, 1/1.3-inch sensor size, 82-degree FoV) is backed by a 48-megapixel ultrawide snapper (f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.55-inch sensor size, 123-degree FoV). The third camera on the back is a 48-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (f/2.8 aperture, 1/2.55-inch sensor size, 22-degree FoV, 5x optical zoom). On the front, you’ll find a 42-megapixel unit (f/2.2 aperture, 103-degree FoV).
The Google Pixel 10 Pro is also equipped with Bluetooth 6, Wi-Fi 7, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. It is also IP68 certified and ships with Android 16 out of the box. Google has promised 7 years of OS, security, and Pixel Drop updates for the phone, by the way. The device measures 152.8 x 72 x 8.6mm, and weighs 207 grams. It comes in Jade, Moonstone, Obsidian, and Porcelain color options.

What colors does the Google Pixel 10 Pro come in?
The Google Pixel 10 Pro was announced in four color options , the same as its larger sibling, the Pixel 10 Pro XL. If you’re interested, you can choose from Jade, Moonstone, Obsidian, and Porcelain color variants. The Jade color is arguably the most eye-catching one, as these colors are more neutral than the Pixel 10 ones. There is still plenty of choice here, however, chances are you’ll find something you’re interested in. You can check out all of these colors in the image below.

What new upgrades does the Google Pixel 10 Pro have over the Google Pixel 9 Pro?
The Google Pixel 10 Pro does come with a number of improvements over its predecessor, even though it keeps a very similar design. Google is sticking to its design language, for now. There are a number of improvements to talk about here, so let’s get to it.
More processing power
The Google Pixel 10 Pro is coming with a brand-new chip, the Tensor G5. This is the very first Tensor chip made by TSMC, and it uses the latest 3nm node from the company. It promises a 60% more powerful TPU and a 34% faster CPU. The ISP has also been upgraded, which should provide us with better images and videos.
Proper Qi2 charging… included
Yes, the Google Pixel 10 Pro supports Qi2 wireless charging. It actually supports proper Qi2 charging, as it comes with magnets built-in, similar to Apple’s iPhones. The charging speed you’ll be getting here is 15W (max).
Even brighter display
The Google Pixel 10 Pro will feature an even brighter display than its predecessor, at least on paper. Its brightness can reach a maximum level of 3,300 nits. The Pixel 9 Pro’s display was bright enough to begin with, so we can safely say this one will be too.
Audio improvements
Google has promised audio improvements here too. Quite honestly, we’re still not sure what exactly the company meant by that, but we’ll assume that the sound output is getting a boost, and perhaps some new features. We’ll see.
Improved camera autofocus
Autofocus worked perfectly fine on the Google Pixel 9 Pro, no issues whatsoever, at least not on our end. Google did, however, promise improvements in that department. The camera should be able to focus even quicker now.
The battery capacity is higher
The Google Pixel 10 Pro features a 4,870mAh battery on the inside. That’s definitely an improvement over a 4,700mAh unit inside the Pixel 9 Pro. That, in combination with a brand new chip, should yield some battery life improvements.
UFS 4.0 storage, finally!
Google has finally made a jump to faster storage, it was about time. UFS 3.1 has been used by the company for far too long. UFS 4.0 is notably faster and has better power consumption, not to mention it has been used for years, even in mid-range phones.
What cases are available for the Google Pixel 10 Pro?
Google is offering its Pixelsnap cases for the Pixel 10 Pro. There are 7 colors to choose from: Obsidian, Moonstone, Indigo, Porcelain, Jade, Lemongrass, and Frost. All of those cases for the Pixel 10 Pro actually fit the Pixel 10 too. All of them are also compatible with Qi2 charging, as you’ll see by the indicator on the inside, for the magnet. This case is designed with soft silicone and is tested for “everyday oops moments”, in other words, it can handle some drops. You can buy it from the link below.
What other, first-party Pixelsnap accessories are available?
Google is offering a Pixelsnap case for the Pixel 10 Pro, but that’s not all. The company is also offering several other Pixelsnap accessories . We’ll talk about each of them, there are three in total. You’ll also see their images and purchase links below.
Pixelsnap Ring Stand
The first accessory is a Pixelsnap Ring Stand. This is not a charger, but rather a fancy popsocket. It is supposed to not only give you something to hold on to when you need to, but it also serves as a stand for your phone. This accessory costs $29.99 and comes in a single color, gray.
Pixelsnap Charger
The Google Pixelsnap Charger is the second accessory on the list. This is a very simple charger that magnetizes on the back of the Pixel 10 Pro. It’s the equivalent to Apple’s MagSafe charger. It look simple, which is not a bad thing. This charger is priced at $39.99.
Pixelsnap Charger with Stand
The Google Pixelsnap Charger with Stand is essentially the Pixelsnap Charger, but it also ships with a nice stand. This stand does fold. It is priced at $69.99, and comes in a white color only. It’s a very nice accessory to have if you’re traveling a lot.

Should I buy the Google Pixel 10 Pro?
The Google Pixel 10 Pro is the phone for you if you want the best Google has to offer… in a compact package. This phone is the equivalent to the Pixel 10 Pro XL for those of you who don’t want a large phone. The Pixel 10 Pro is basically the ideal size for a phone, many people would agree. You’re getting all the features the ‘XL’ model has, and all the hardware benefits, basically. The Google Pixel 10 Pro is also a bit more affordable, which is a good thing. Based on what we’ve seen thus far, this is a solid purchase.

Updates
Updated September 15, 2025: (September 2025 update + Pixel Feature Drop)
The Google Pixel 10 series is getting the fewest changes brought by the Pixel Feature Drop, as most of them were included when the devices launched. The Pixel 10 is getting some security improvements as part of the September 2025 Android security update , along with several other changes as part of this update. General improvements for system stability are included, and a fix for the issue with the screen turning black during transitions from a webpage in the in-app browser. Google has also fixed issues with the power button, as it tended to stop working under some circumstances. The stability of certain UI transitions has been improved, while several other problems with system instability have been fixed.
Updated September 25, 2025: (another September 2025 update)
The Google Pixel 10 Pro is now getting another September 2025 Android update . This one follows the Pixel Feature Drop that arrived earlier this month, and it’s actually rather tiny, as you’d expect. This update is marked as ‘BD3A.250721.001.E1’, and it weighs only around 31MB. It fixes critical bugs and improves the performance and stability, the company’s changelog claims. Verizon did add that the update fixes the ‘fuzzy display’ issue. Chances are that many of you already received this update, even though it’s rolling out in stages.
Updated October 14, 2025: (October 2025 update)
The Google Pixel 10 Pro is now also receiving the October 2025 Android update . This update fixes the frozen or fuzzy display that was occasionally a problem for some users. It also fixes a semi-transparent background, which would appear at times when the camera was launched. If your flashlight status did not appear on the At a Glance widget at times, that should no longer be a problem. The last fix relates to the System UI crash when starting or stopping casting with the Media Output Switcher. The update is rolling out in stages .
Updated November 7, 2025: (second October 2025 update)
The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL is now getting a surprising update . Google has started to roll out a second October update to the phone, following the one that delivered the October 2025 Android security patch to the device. This update is all about performance improvements, that’s all we know. No details have been shared. The update does weigh around 30MB, and it’s a global update. Do note that the November Android update is right around the corner, though. Until that happens, you should be able to install this update soon, if it has not dropped already.
Updated December 5, 2025: (Android 16 QPR2 + December 2025 update)
What about the December 2025 update? Well, it fixes dozens of security issues , not to mention that it brings other fixes. It fixes occasional audio crashes, as well as a battery icon which was displaying a question mark in certain conditions. General improvements for camera stability have been pushed out too. Bluetooth connectivity has been improved, and more .
Updated December 31, 2025: (second December 2025 update)
Following the Android 16 QPR2 update, which arrived with the December 2025 Android security update, Google is now pushing the second December 2025 update to the Pixel 10 Pro. This update brings a fix for battery drain, while it also fixes touch unresponsiveness. The last entry in the provided changelog says that cached content access has been fixed, too. Some users who updated straight from Android 14 (or earlier versions) to Android 16 had issues. With that being said, this update is rolling out globally as we speak, though it’s rolling out in stages.
Updated January 21, 2026: (January 2026 update)
The Google Pixel 10 Pro is now getting the January 2026 Android update . In addition to a security boost, some other fixes are included in this update. The update brings a fix for noisy ringback tones experienced during Webex calls, in some conditions. It also fixes an issue with a battery drain that occurs in some instances. AOD flickering should not be a problem anymore, and the same goes for those noisy lines flashing on the screen when editing HDR photos in the Adobe Lightroom app. General improvements for GPU performance are also being pushed out. This update also includes a fix for an issue where the touchscreen randomly stops working. And finally, a fix for an issue where deleting a Live Universe wallpaper causes the Wallpaper and style app to become unusable is also included here. The update is rolling out in stages.
Updated February 6, 2026: (February 2026 update)
Google has started pushing out the February 2026 Android update to the Pixel 10 Pro. This time around, there are basically no security fixes to speak of, unlike last month. Well, one change is listed in the Pixel Update Bulletin : ‘CVE-2026-010 A-463674877 EoP High VPU Driver’. Other than that, nothing. There are also no new features to speak of. Next month’s update should be interesting, though, as Android 16 QPR3 is coming.
