Google Pixel 10 specs
The Google Pixel 10 is the cheapest phone in the series, but its specs are nothing to scoff at. The phone is fueled by the Google Tensor G5 processor, the same chip that fuels all of its siblings. This is the first TSMC-made chip for Pixel phones, a 3nm processor. The Titan M2 security coprocessor is also used. Google has opted to include 12GB of RAM inside the Pixel 10, while you can choose between 128GB and 256GB of internal storage (non-expandable).
A 6.3-inch Actual display is included here, and it’s flat. The resolution on offer is 2424 x 1080, while this display has an adaptive refresh rate (60-120Hz). It’s protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and offers HDR support. A 4,970mAh battery is also a part of the package, and the phone supports both wired and wireless charging. 30W wired charging is supported, while you can take advantage of 15W Qi2 charging too (with magnets). A charger is not included in the box, though.
Three cameras sit on the back of this phone. A 48-megapixel main snapper (f/1.7 aperture, 1/2-inch sensor size, 82-degree FoV) is backed by a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera (f/2.2 aperture, 1/3.1-inch sensor size, 120-degree FoV). The third camera on the back is a 10.8-megapixel telephoto unit (f/3.1 aperture, 1/3.2-inch sensor size, 23-degree FoV, 5x optical zoom). On the front, you’ll find a 10.5-megapixel snapper.
The Pixel 10 supports Bluetooth 6 and Wi-Fi 7. A fingerprint scanner sits under the display, while this smartphone is also IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. Android 16 comes pre-installed, while Google promised 7 years of OS, security, and Pixel Drop updates for the phone. The Google Pixel 10 measures 152.8 x 72 x 8.6mm, while it weighs 207 grams. The device comes in Frost, Indigo, Lemongrass, and Obsidian color options.

How much does the Google Pixel 10 cost?
The Google Pixel 10 launched in two storage options, 128GB and 256GB flavors. The phone’s entry-level model is priced at $799, while the one with more storage costs $899. The Pixel 10 is the only phone from the series that comes in only two storage flavors. Two is better than one, though, at least you have some options here. The phone will go on sale starting on August 28, while pre-orders are already live.
Where can I buy the Google Pixel 10?

AT&T

T-Mobile

Verizon

What carriers does it work on?
The Google Pixel 10 will work with all major US carriers and their MVNOs. In other words, it will work with AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon and all their MVNOs in the states. It also has a wide compatibility outside of the US. You basically don’t have to worry about that.
What colors does the Google Pixel 10 come in?
The Google Pixel 10 is available in four colors , as expected. Google has decided to offer some really nice, eye-catching colors this time, mixed with some more neutral ones. The phone launched in Frost, Indigo, Lemongrass, and Obsidian colors. The more neutral models are Frost and Obsidian, while Indigo and Lemongrass are definitely the ones that will attract the most attention. It all depends on what you prefer. You can check out all four color variants in the image below.

What new upgrades/downgrades does the Google Pixel 10 have over the Google Pixel 9?
The Google Pixel 10 does bring a number of improvements over its predecessor, of course. However, there’s also one rather odd… downgrade? Well, we won’t know if it’s really a downgrade until the full review, but it sure looks like a downgrade on paper. We’ll talk about all that below, so let’s get to it.
Improved processor
The Google Tensor G5 fuels the entire Pixel 10 series. That is a 3nm chip, and the very first TSMC-made Tensor chip. It’s made using the latest 3nm process node from TSMC. It has a 60% more powerful TPU, says Google, and a 34% faster CPU. The ISP has alsob een upgraded for bettter image and video quality.
Qi2 built-in
The Google Pixel 10 comes with Qi2 built-in. And by that, we don’t mean that it only supports 15W wireless charging, but it comes with magnets included too. So it offers proper Qi2 charging, without the need to use a case. You can still use a case, though, and some of them (like Google’s official ones), have magnets built-in.
The telephoto camera is (finally) here
The Google Pixel 9 included two cameras on the back, while the Pixel 10 has three. That third camera is the telephoto camera, which has finally been added. It’s not all that impressive on paper, but it’s better than nothing, that’s for sure. The phone uses a 10.8-megapixel unit, just like the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Battery boost
This phone also has a larger battery than its predecessor. It includes a 4,970mAh unit, compared to a 4,700mAh battery inside the Pixel 9. This, in combination with the brand new chip, should make a difference in the battery life department.
Odd main camera choice
Google did make a rather odd main camera choice here, though. It opted for a 48-megapixel main camera, but with a 1/2.0-inch sensor. The Pixel 9 has a 50-megapixel main camera with a 1/1.31-inch sensor. Both cameras utilize an f/1.7 aperture lens. On paper, the Pixel 9’s camera does look better, but we’ll see.
What official (first-party) cases are available for the Google Pixel 10?
Google is offering its Pixelsnap case for the Google Pixel 10. In fact, it’s the same exact case for both the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro. The two phones once again have the exact same dimensions, as did their predecessors. This case costs $49.99, and you can buy it from the link below. It comes in seven different colors: Obsidian, Moonstone, Indigo, Porcelain, Jade, Lemongrass, and Frost. This case is made out of silicone, and it has been drop-tested.
What other, first-party Pixelsnap accessories are available?
In addition to the Pixelsnap case for the Pixel 10, Google is offering several other Pixelsnap accessories . We’ll talk about each of the three of them, and include purchase links below.
Pixelsnap Ring Stand
First, there’s a Pixelsnap Ring Stand. This is basically a fancy popsocket. Not only does it give you something to hold on to, but it can also serve you to prop up your phone. It both looks and feels very nice. It costs $29.99 and comes in a single color, gray.
Pixelsnap Charger
The second accessory is a Pixelsnap Charger. This is Google’s alternative to the standard iPhone MagSafe charger. It is a small puck that magnetizes on the back of your Pixel 10 handset and then starts charging it. It’s simple, but effective. It’s priced at $39.99.
Pixelsnap Charger with Stand
The third and final accessory is the PixelSnap Charger with Stand. That’s essentially the Pixelsnap Charger, but it comes with a stand which folds. It looks simple, but it does the job. It is priced at $69.99, and comes in a white color only.

Should I buy the Google Pixel 10?
The Google Pixel 10 is the most affordable member of the series, and it does seem like a compelling smartphone. The main drawback compared to the ‘Pro’ models is its camera setup, which is inferior across the board. There are some other things, of course, but that’s the main thing. If you want all the bells and whistles that Google has to offer, get the Pixel 10 Pro or Pixel 10 Pro XL. If you want a basic phone that will do everything you need, well, but is not the creme of the crop… the Google Pixel 10 will do a fine job.

Updates
Updated September 11, 2025: (September 2025 update + Pixel Feature Drop)
With the September 2025 Android security update , Google is rolling out quite a few fixes to Pixel phones, including the Pixel 10. The thing is, the least amount of changes are coming to the Pixel 10, as that device launched with them already. With that being said, some changes are included. This update brings general improvements for system stability and performance in certain conditions. It also brings a fix for the issue with the screen turning black during transitions from a webpage in the in-app browser under certain conditions.
Google has also fixed the power button, as it tended to stop working in certain instances when connected to Android Auto and charging via USB-C. Stability of certain UI transitions has also been improved, and a fix has been issued for a problem that occasionally caused system instability. That’s pretty much it.
Updated September 25, 2025: (another September 2025 update)
The Google Pixel 10 is now receiving a new September 2025 update , a surprising one. This is a very small update, actually, as it follows the Pixel Feature Drop, which was huge. This update is marked as ‘BD3A.250721.001.E1’, and it weighs around 31MB. There is one entry in the changelog: “This update fixes critical bugs and improves the performance and stability of your device.” So, it’s basically a performance improvement update, don’t expect to see any new features or anything like that. The update is rolling out in stages, though many of you have probably received it already.
Updated October 14, 2025: (October 2025 update)
The Google Pixel 10 is now getting the October 2025 Android update . This update brings a fix for an issue that occasionally caused frozen or fuzzy display. It also brings a fix for a semi-transparent background that would appear when the camera was launched. There was also a problem where the flashlight status does not appear on the At a Glance widget, but that shouldn’t be a problem anymore. Finally, this update also fixes the System UI crash when starting or stopping casting with the Media Output Switcher in certain conditions. The update is rolling out in stages , though, so keep that in mind.
Updated November 7, 2025: (second October 2025 update)
The Google Pixel 10 has already received its October 2025 Android update, but a second one started rolling out as well. This update is all about performance improvements, actually. The update weighs only about 30MB, and it’s a global update. All we know at this point is that it delivers performance improvements, so don’t expect to see new features or anything like that when this update drops. We’re also very close to the November 2025 update for the device, that one should be arriving soon.
Updated December 4, 2025:
Updated December 30, 2025: (second December 2025 update)
The Google Pixel 10 is now getting a second December 2025 update . This one follows the Android 16 QPR2 update, which included the general December 2025 Android security update. The new update is coming with a fix for battery drain, and it also fixes touch unresponsiveness. The last entry in the changelog mentions cached content access fixes. Some users were unable to access stored content when upgrading from Android 14 (or earlier) to Android 16. The update is rolling out globally, but it’s coming in stages, so be patient.
Updated January 21, 2026: (January 2026 update)
In addition to the security boost, the January 2026 Android update also brings some other fixes to the Google Pixel 10. It brings a fix for noisy ringback tones experienced during Webex calls. It also fixes an issue with battery draining in certain conditions. A fix for the issue with AOD flickering is also included, as is a fix for noisy lines flashing on the screen when editing HDR photos in the Adobe Lightroom app. General improvements for GPU performance are also included, as is a fix for the touchscreen problem. Google also fixed a problem that was triggered by deleting a Live Universe wallpaper. That problem could occasionally cause the Wallpaper and style app to become unusable until you reboot the device.
Updated February 6, 2026: (February 2026 update)
Google has started rolling out the February 2026 Android update to the Pixel 10. Unlike the January update, this one does not bring any security fixes. However, if you check out the Pixel Update Bulletin , you will notice one fix: ‘CVE-2026-010 A-463674877 EoP High VPU Driver’. That is all. Next month’s update should be a big one, though, as Android 16 QPR3 is coming, so get ready for that.
