Verizon’s certification has just confirmed some of the Google Pixel 10a’s specifications , not to mention that the name is mentioned, too. This information has been shared by Evan Blass, one of the most accurate tipsters around.
The Google Pixel 10a specs appeared, and they look awfully familiar
In the listing, which is shown below, you can clearly see the phone’s name and specs below it. The device will feature a 6.285-inch fullHD+ display, which will almost certainly be marketed as a 6.3-inch panel.
That display will offer a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, but it won’t go down to 1Hz. The lowest it’ll be able to go is 60Hz, it seems. This will be a pOLED panel aka Plastic OLED display, based on what is said here.
A 5,100mAh battery will be used, along with 8GB of RAM
Furthermore, 8GB of RAM is mentioned in the listing, along with 128GB of storage. It is noted that the phone will not support storage expansion, which was to be expected. A 5,100mAh battery will sit on the inside.
The listing also confirms the codename ‘STA5’, which stands for Stallion. Google AI is also mentioned in there, as well as 5G support and Cat. 19 LTE support.
So, it seems like it will use the same display as the Pixel 9a , at least from what we see here. It may be brighter, or differentiate in some other way, but chances are it’s the same panel.
Google also won’t upgrade the RAM, it seems, while the lowest storage variant will remain the 128GB one. Even the battery capacity will remain the same as on the Google Pixel 9a.
A lot of the details are still missing
Granted, we don’t see all the specs here, not even close, but everything that is shared looks just like on the Pixel 9a. Perhaps the phone will differentiate in the camera department, or in some other way. Some rumors even claimed that the same chip will be used as in the Pixel 9a.
Thus far, the Pixel 10a doesn’t look like much of an upgrade, but let’s wait for more information before we jump to conclusions. If you’d like to check out the Pixel 10a design , we’ve exclusively shared it a while back.
