With the Google Pixel 10 , the company is debuting a new AI feature that isn’t just a gimmick. That’s Magic Cue. While I was getting a demo of Magic Cue at the hands-on event last week, the first thing I thought of with Magic Cue was Google Now. Many moons ago, when Google Now was announced, it was supposed to be able to surface things before we needed them. Like calendar events and sports scores. Now Magic Cue takes that to the next level.
Magic Cue is contextually aware, so if you have a friend who texts you and asks what that restaurant is that you two were going to meet at, Magic Cue can bring up the restaurant name or address as a recommendation to send to that friend.
Another cool example that Google showed off was when you go to call an airline about your flight, Magic Cue can bring in your flight info from your email (Gmail only for now) and show all of those details right in the dialer while you’re on the phone. So there’s less fumbling around for things like your confirmation number.

Daily Hub is Google’s take on the Now Bar
The Daily Hub will continue to evolve the more you use it. As there’s more and more data that Gemini and other AI models are able to learn from your usage.
This is going to be exclusive to the Google Pixel 10, and that is because of the Tensor G5. Google told us that because of the better performance and LLMs that are only on the Tensor G5, that it won’t be coming to older Pixel devices – at least not right now. It is however, available on the entire Pixel 10 lineup, so it is not limited to the Pro models only.
