Govee, a popular smart home device brand, debuted the Sky Ceiling Light and Ceiling Light Ultra for rooms earlier at CES 2026. Now, the company has quietly teased a new product called the Govee Outdoor Filament String Lights on its website. The brand’s new smart lighting solution comes with transparent, globe-shaped bulbs, each featuring a four-color filament. In addition, Govee is also planning to launch the new Outdoor Pathway Lights solution soon.
Key features of Govee’s Outdoor Filament String Lights solution
There’s a Coming Soon page for Govee’s Outdoor Filament String Lights solution on the brand’s website. A teaser image of the product shows a round, clear glass bulb, featuring a black plastic cap and matching wires. Reports suggest that each bulb will flaunt a four-color filament “for an elegant glow”. The brand has stated that the product is capable of generating up to 120 lumens of brightness for the white light.
Similar to some of the brand’s other devices, users will be able to remotely control the upcoming smart lights using the Govee smartphone application. The brand confirms that these lights have an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. Govee hasn’t yet revealed other specifications of the upcoming product.
The Govee Outdoor Pathway Lights are coming soon
Govee has also added the Outdoor Cylinder Pathway Lights to the ‘Coming Soon’ section of its website in the US. The brand’s new offering in this segment features a cylindrical light sat on top of a black stem, which has a spike to fix the lights into the ground.
In the teaser images, the light source seems to be much larger than the one used on the Outdoor Pathway Lights 2. The product will offer white and colored lighting effects, apart from more than 60 scene modes via the Govee home app.
