Smart lighting has become such a big part of most people’s living spaces these days that it isn’t surprising to see companies like Govee coming up with new and improved smart home tech every year, and that’s exactly what Govee is doing at CES 2026 with the Ceiling Light Ultra and a few other products. Govee is well-known within the smart lighting space for several different lighting solutions, from desk lamps to light strips. Some of that will be making an appearance at this year’s CES as refreshed models of past products. Govee is also announcing some new and exciting devices this year.
Govee says its new products are “lighting the future,” and that seems like a pretty close approximation, given what it’s announcing this year. Of course, some of Govee’s most exciting stuff is simply the new and improved models of products it already offers. Take the Govee Floor Lamp. This year, Govee is announcing the third generation of this lamp. On the outside, it looks mostly the same, save for a couple of key changes. The beauty of this refresh is on the inside. The lamp is powered by new tech like LuminBlend+ for better color and a wider range of color temperatures. It’s also now powered by the 2.0 version of the AI Lighting Bot and Govee’s new ‘DataSync’ system. Govee says this delivers “adaptive time-aware illumination.” You’ll also see this tech in the other new products.

The Govee Ceiling Light Ultra offers “vivid patterns and animations”
One of Govee’s new products is the Ceiling Light Ultra. As the name suggests, it’s a ceiling light that you can affix to the ceiling in any room to get the same kind of wide range of colors and temperatures as you’d get from the Govee floor lamp.
What makes this ceiling light interesting, as well as stand out from the competition, is the 616-Pixel LED matrix that Govee says allows this light to provide vivid patterns and animations. The new AI Lighting Bot 2.0 is also present in this product and enables tons of different lighting effects. So your ceiling lighting doesn’t have to be boring. It’s worth noting that this light is big. It’s 21 inches across, so expect TONS of light for whatever room it’s placed in. It also has a maximum brightness of 5,000 lumens.
In addition to this, Govee is announcing another ceiling light product called the Sky Ceiling Light. As you might have guessed, it was designed to mimic clear sky tones. So it feels more like the kind of light you’d get outside on a clear sunny day. Govee hasn’t confirmed pricing or availability for any of these products yet. However, it should have some information about that stuff on its website soon enough.
