Govee has showcased a range of new smart lighting products at the ongoing IFA 2025 trade show in Berlin. Among the bunch, the most exciting devices include the Govee TV Backlight 3 Pro and Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Prism. The former is Govee’s new premium lighting solution that mimics the colors on your TV’s screen, while the latter is a light strip that allows you to decorate your home.
Govee’s TV Backlight 3 Pro is brighter and captures colors better than earlier models
Govee states that the TV Backlight 3 Pro uses an industry-first HDR triple-camera color-matching system to accurately capture TV screen colors. The firm has equipped the new lighting system with a new image sensor that offers HDR capture capability. Govee has also updated the LED light strip, which now has a high-density lamp bead design. It can now offer 30 percent more brightness and a more even lighting effect than earlier models.
Additionally, Govee’s artificial intelligence-powered system onboard the TV Backlight 3 Pro adjusts the lighting automatically based on what’s playing on the screen. The AI aims to “create an immersive experience that matches the content’s style and atmosphere.”

Govee’s second product can create a prismatic pattern over your home’s siding
Govee’s Permanent Outdoor Light Prism can make your home’s dull siding appear super attractive all year round. The third generation of the firm’s outdoor lighting system features an industry-first triple color lighting effect with a dynamic optical design. Govee states the optical structure allows each lighting zone to blend without overlapping.
The new Govee outdoor lighting Prism can produce 16 million “true-to-life” colors. It means that you can decorate your outdoor home lights with purple and orange hues during Halloween or red and green in time for Christmas.
The Permanent Outdoor Lights Prism can work in temperatures ranging between -30 degrees and 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Additionally, the new strip comes with an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, which means it can survive in all weather conditions.

It’s worth mentioning that Govee’s new smart lighting products support Matter. It means that they are compatible with Alexa, Google Home, and Apple Home devices. Also, they work with Govee’s DreamView system to synchronize with other lights from the company.
Govee’s new TV Backlight 3 Pro and Permanent Outdoor Lights Prism will go on sale by the end of September. The company hasn’t yet revealed the pricing details of the new devices. Apart from the aforementioned devices, Govee also showcased the Curtain Light Pro, Pendant Light, Star Light Projector, and Christmas Sparkle String Lights at IFA 2025.
