Samsung looks all set to launch its new, mid-range A-series smartphones, the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37. Following a launch timeframe leak of both smartphones from earlier this month, the Chinese TENAA certification website has now shed some light on some of the core specs of the Samsung Galaxy A57 with model number SM-A5760.

Chinese TENAA listing reveals core specs of the Samsung Galaxy A57

According to the TENAA listing , the Galaxy A57 comes with a 6.6-inch FHD+ display. The display panel supports 16 million colors, hinting at an AMOLED screen. However, the exact display technology hasn’t been mentioned in the listing.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A57 could pack an octa-core chipset which features a tri-cluster CPU setup. The said octa-core chipset comes with clocked top speeds of up to 2.9GHz, 2.6GHz, and 1.95GHz. While the specifics of the SoC aren’t mentioned in the data listing, it appears that Samsung could go with the upcoming Exynos 1680 chipset.

On the camera front, the Galaxy A57 will sport a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary camera. Besides that, there is a 12MP secondary camera and a 5MP third camera. However, the specifics about the other two cameras are unclear for now. On the front, the Galaxy A57 will come with a 12MP front-facing camera.

Additionally, TENAA confirms that the Galaxy A57 will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and standard biometric face recognition support. The phone will measure 161.5 × 76.8 × 6.9mm, which suggests the phone is considerably thin for a mid-ranger. Plus, it weighs somewhere around 182 grams.

45W wired fast charging and two variants in sight

Moving on, the leaked Galaxy A57 listing also confirms 256GB of internal storage. Given that Samsung is looking to cater to users looking for a mid-range smartphone, we are assuming that it will also launch in two variants, featuring 8GB and 12GB RAM. We might get 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations. Per the TENAA listing, the device packs a 4,950mAh rated battery. So, we are looking at a typical capacity of around 5,000mAh. As far as charging is concerned, the spotted listing suggests that the Galaxy A57 may support up to 45W fast charging. All that said, the pricing of the upcoming Android smartphone is still unknown. As the launch approaches, we expect to get more information regarding the device.
