Huawei recently shared the design of the Mate 80 series of flagship phones, which it’ll unveil to the world in China on November 25. These devices will be accompanied by the company’s new foldable smartphone, the Mate X7. After the Mate 80 series, Huawei has given us the first look at the design and colors of the Mate X7. It looks like the phone will get only minor design changes .
Huawei’s Mate X7 is coming with this design and in these color variants
In the official photos , Huawei’s Mate X7 foldable is visible in three color variants: white, maroon, and purple. However, we’re sure that Huawei has some more color variants to show at the launch event. While we can’t confirm it, the new offering appears to be slightly slimmer than its predecessor, the Mate X6 . Also, the large camera module at the rear of the phone is a little different than earlier Mate X series devices.
Its camera module seems to be more polished and symmetrical than the earlier models . The module appears to house four lenses, including a periscope shooter and a large LED flash unit. Additionally, the teaser reveals that the XMAGE system powers the phone’s rear cameras.

Furthermore, Huawei has shared a couple of video teasers of the Mate X7, which highlight the durable design. The brand has confirmed that the new model will utilize a second-gen Kunlun glass to protect the display. Also, the device will feature an IP58 and IP59 dust and water resistance rating.
What do we know about the features?
According to the popular Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, the Huawei Mate X7 will utilize the Kirin 9030 processor. Huawei will pair the new chip with up to a massive 20GB of RAM and 1TB of native storage. Some reports indicate that the phone could get the Pro version of the Kirin 9030 SoC.
Recent leaks have indicated that the Mate X7 could get two main cameras at the rear: a 50MP 1/1.56-inch sensor and a 50MP 1/1.3-inch shooter. It could have a 50MP periscope telephoto shooter for macro imaging and a red maple multiple-spectral camera. We’ll have the complete specs and pricing details on November 25, so stay tuned.
