On the other hand, HONOR appears to be gearing up to kick off 2026 with its long-rumored ultra-thin smartphone, the HONOR Magic 8 Pro Air. Now, in a new leak, some of the specs, renders, and colors of the HONOR Magic 8 Pro Air have surfaced online.

The upcoming ultra-thin phone from HONOR is the third member of last year’s Magic 8 series . It includes the HONOR Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro. In China, the company has officially started teasing the HONOR Magic 8 Pro Air. Although HONOR is mum about the details, tipsters from the company’s homeland have spilled specs and colors of the Magic 8 Pro Air .
New leaks suggest that the HONOR Magic 8 Pro Air will come with a thickness of a mere 6.1mm . It’ll weigh only 155 grams. Apart from that, the device is expected to ship with a 6.3-inch flat 1.5K OLED display. This shows that while keeping the ultra-thin form factor, HONOR isn’t compromising on screen quality. Additionally, the upcoming smartphone will boot Android-16 -based MagicOS 10 out of the box.
Under the hood, the Magic 8 Pro Air will pack MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500k chipset for performance needs. Speaking of power, HONOR has reportedly managed to fit in a 5,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast wired charging. Rumors also point out that the device won’t come with wireless charging support. On the camera front, rumors about a telephoto camera have surfaced lately. Other than that, there are no details whatsoever. To catch you up, HONOR’s Magic 8 series debuted with solid camera specs, which gives hope that the Magic 8 Pro Air also won’t compromise on that part.
Four color options and the possibility of a February launch
The latest leaks have also shed some light on the colors of the HONOR Magic 8 Pro Air. The device will launch in four color options: black, white, purple, and orange. It’s worth noting that the choice of color option may alter the slimness and overall weight of the device by a thin margin. As far as launch is concerned, HONOR might be targeting February 17, the Chinese New Year. That’s when the company’s other flagship device from the Magic 8 series, the HONOR Magic 8 RSR, is also rumored to be launched. There’s no word on the pricing of the upcoming ultra-thin smartphone, but the leaked renders hint at a Pixel 10-inspired design .
