The HONOR Magic8 series just got bigger, as the company has launched the Magic8 Lite. The “Lite” moniker indicates that this will be the cheapest model of the family and succeeds the Magic7 Lite from earlier this year. The headlining feature of the phone is its whopping 7,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. There’s also AI assistance to boost the camera performance.
The Honor Magic8 Lite has been officially launched
The HONOR Magic8 Lite features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC. The phone gets 8GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. It flaunts a 6.79-inch OLED display with 1,200 X 2,640 pixels resolution, a 120Hz high refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM dimming, 1.07 billion colors, and a 6,000 nits peak brightness. The bezels are apparently just 1.3mm thick.
As said, you get a large 7,500mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging and 7.5W reverse charging. The battery will last for up to three days of use , with longevity rated at 80% capacity even after six years. HONOR is taking the battery game to newer heights. The recently launched HONOR 500 series featured a large 8,000mAh battery.

The HONOR Magic8 Lite will be available in Forest Green, Midnight Black, and Reddish Brown colors. The pricing details will reportedly be out when the phone goes on sale in January 2026, so as of now, the cost of the phone isn’t clear.
For photography, the HONOR Magic8 Lite offers you a 108MP ultra-sensing main camera using a 1/1.67-inch sensor backed by OIS and EIS. There’s a 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide-angle lens. Meanwhile, there’s a 16MP lens on the front for your selfies and video chats. HONOR is also offering a few editing tools like AI -enhanced beauty modes, AI Eraser, AI Cutout, and AI Outpainting. The new 4K HD moving photo collage mode offers an easy way to build more dynamic visual stories.
With HONOR Connection, you can transfer photos to iOS. Unfortunately, the phone runs on Android 15 with HONOR MagicOS 9 skin on top. For durability, the HONOR Magic8 Lite gets an IP66, IP68, and IP69K rating for dust and water resistance. It also carries SGS 5-Star Comprehensive Reliability Certification. The phone can withstand drops from heights of up to 2.5 meters on surfaces like marble.
