HONOR is all set to introduce the third member of the Magic8 series , the Magic8 Pro Air, at an event in China on January 19. Apart from the slim smartphone, the company is also planning to launch a Porsche Design variant under the Magic8 series on the same date, it has confirmed. While the brand hasn’t revealed anything officially, the complete specs of the HONOR Magic8 RSR Porsche Design have surfaced online.

The HONOR Magic8 RSR PD is also available to pre-order in China, just a week ahead of the unveiling.

The Magic8 RSR Porsche Design will come in two attractive variants

HONOR hasn’t itself started taking pre-orders for the Magic8 RSR Porsche Design. However, China’s e-commerce portal JD.com has opened registrations for the new smartphone. Interested buyers can book the device in Moonstone and Slate Gray variants. It is up for grabs in two RAM and storage configurations: 16GB RAM + 512GB and 24GB + 1TB.

HONOR and JD have also shared a few photos of the Magic8 RSR Porsche Design. Just like its predecessor, the new model will inherit the classic Porsche flowing lines design, which perfectly blends artistic design with functional aesthetics, says the brand.

At the rear, the new HONOR Porsche Design phone will flaunt a squircle camera island at the rear. It’ll have three camera lenses, including a periscope telephoto shooter. Below the volume rocker and power button, the handset will get a separate physical button. Users could use it to trigger a digital assistant or the camera shutter.

Leaked specs suggest the HONOR Magic8 RSR Porsche Design will come fully loaded

Coming to the leaked specs, a Chinese tipster claims that the Magic8 RSR Porsche Design will have a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED 1.5K display with a quad-curved design. Similar to the recent flagships, the device will utilize Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Notably, the company will ship the phone with a whopping 24GB of RAM and 1TB of native storage.

In the camera department, the Magic8 RSR Porsche Design will get an OIS-enabled 50MP main shooter, paired with a 50MP ultra-wide snapper. There will also be a 200MP periscope telephoto shooter, which could support 3.7x optical zoom.

Furthermore, the tipster claims the Magic8 RSR Porsche Design will get a massive 7,200mAh battery. The power cell will support 120W wired and 80W wireless charging. It will also come with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, 3D facial scan, satellite connectivity support, and IP69K water and dust resistance.
