HONOR recently launched its all-new Win series of smartphones in China. It quickly gained the attention of the tech community for offering a massive 10,000mAh battery and other powerful specifications in a slim form factor. The brand isn’t stopping here. The company has now announced the launch date of its upcoming HONOR Power 2 , a new mid-range smartphone, with an extraordinary 10,080mAh battery capacity.

HONOR has confirmed that its first device of 2026, the HONOR Power 2, will launch on January 5th . The phone is going to be the company’s latest debut in the midrange segment. It will succeed the original Power model that debuted in April 2024. To begin with, the main highlight of the smartphone is its massive battery. The firm has announced that the phone will feature a huge 10,080mAh battery. This will make it the highest battery capacity smartphone available commercially to date.
The Chinese tech giant has also made some bold claims about the battery life of the gadget. As per the announcement, the HONOR Power 2 will be able to deliver up to 20.3 hours of continuous screen-on time, up to 22 hours of short-video playback, and up to 14.2 hours of gaming. The phone is also confirmed to carry 80W fast wired charging support. However, do note that there won’t be any wireless charging support.
It may pack a Dimensity 8500 Elite chip, a large LTPS AMOLED display
HONOR has not revealed any key specifications of the device. However, several leaks and rumors suggest that the Power 2 will feature a 6.79-inch LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel may support up to 8000-nits of HDR peak brightness. It will boot up on Android 16 -powered MagicOS 10 right out of the box.
Furthermore, the phone is officially confirmed to feature the new MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset. It will succeed the latest year’s Dimensity 8400 chip. As for the storage and RAM, the phone is said to be available in two different configurations: 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. As for the cameras, it will pack a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main wide lens and a 5MP ultrawide lens. On the front, it will pack a 16MP selfie shooter.
