HONOR is one of those Android smartphone manufacturers that focuses a lot on features that make its devices stand out from the crowd. The Chinese tech giant has now launched a new midrange smartphone that can run for hours and days without charging. The HONOR X9d also gets an IP69K rating, which can stand against all kinds of spills.
HONOR X9d gets a huge 8300mAh battery and an IP69K rating
HONOR was one of the first brands to adopt the silicon-carbon battery technology. And with its newer models, the company is constantly pushing the boundaries. Recently launched HONOR X9d comes with a massive 8,300mAh silicon-carbon battery . It sets a new standard for other manufacturers as it becomes the smartphone with the largest battery capacity.
Furthermore, the brand claims that the device can easily last for days, even with heavy usage. On top of that, there’s the support of 66W fast wired charging to fuel up the device.

Another interesting part of the device is its IP69K rating. The device can easily withstand normal dust and water spills. Moreover, it can also handle high-temperature pressurized water jets with ease. Additionally, it is also packed with a shock-absorbing frame that further boosts its durability.
It has a huge 6.79-inch display and a 108MP dual rear camera
The HONOR X9d packs a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with FullHD+ pixel resolution and up to 120Hz high refresh rate support. Moreover, the screen is rated to achieve a whopping 6,000 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
As for the cameras, it has a dual rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel primary wide lens and a 5-megapixel ultrawide lens. On the front, there’s a 16-megapixel selfie snapper. It runs on MagicOS 9.0, powered by Android 15, right out of the box. However, the firm has not yet commented on the software support policy of the device.
Talking about its price and availability, HONOR X9d comes in 12GB + 256GB and 12GB +512GB variants. It is priced at MYR 1,499 (approx $356) and MYR 1699 (approx $403) respectively. It will be available in Reddish Brown, Midnight Black, Sunrise Gold, and Forest Green colors. The device is up for pre-orders until October 9.
