HONOR is reportedly working on its new foldable, the Magic V6. This will succeed the Magic V5 and could bring camera upgrades, with a 200MP sensor. While the launch is not happening anytime soon, it shouldn’t stop rumors from greeting us at regular intervals. A new leak on Weibo tells us the HONOR Magic V6 will arrive with the mighty Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. However, that won’t be its headlining feature.

HONOR Magic V6 may arrive with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Prolific leaker Digital Chat Station claims that the upcoming HONOR Magic V6 has entered the development stage. It apparently has two battery size options. The first reportedly packs a 6,900mAh dual-cell battery, while the other is a mammoth 7,200mAh battery. If true, this will surpass the battery capacity of every other foldable. This includes the recently launched Nubia Fold , which has a 6,560mAh battery, and the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s battery by miles.

To recall, even the HONOR Magic V5 also came in two battery variants: a 5,820mAh battery (global) and a 6,100mAh battery (China). The tipster asserts that the battery could be around 1,000mAh larger than rivals.

A whopping 7,200mAh battery and ultra-thin design

The leak doesn’t shed light on the charging speeds, but it’ll get wireless charging support. Digital Chat Station adds that the current prototype features a 200MP main camera and a mid-tier periscope lens with 3x optical zoom. What makes the Magic V6 special is that, despite packing a large battery, it is expected to sport an ultra-thin design. The foldable may also be quite durable , like the Magic V5.

Rest, the foldable may feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and dust and water resistance. There’s no word on the launch timeline just yet. It might, however, debut in June 2026, much like how its predecessor did this year.
