If you’re looking to pre-order the Apple iPhone 17 , well, you still can’t. The thing is, you’ll be able to in a couple of days. Pre-orders for the iPhone 17 will open on September 12, this Friday.

The Apple iPhone 17 will be available for pre-order on September 12

Apple did announce the entire iPhone 17 series today, but it did not immediately open pre-orders. The company did announce when pre-orders will commence, though, so there you go. You’ll be able to pre-order it directly from Apple and from carriers, too.

Four smartphones have been announced as part of the series. Apple announce the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Needless to say, the iPhone 17 is the vanilla model here, and the most affordable option.

Speaking of which, once pre-orders commence, the phone will cost $799 for the 256GB storage option, while the 256GB model will set you back $899. Those are the only two options on offer.

It comes with a larger display than its predecessor

The Apple iPhone 17 comes with a 6.3-inch display, which is a bit larger than what the iPhone 16 offered. That phone shipped with a 6.1-inch panel. This phone does retain two cameras on the back, and it basically looks like its predecessor.

It is made out of aluminum and glass. On the front, it has a flat display with a Dynamic Island up top. Its bezels are minimal and uniform as well. The phone comes in five color options , more than any other iPhone 17 series model.

This will be the right version to purchase for most people. The iPhone Air is an immensely thin phone, but its battery life won’t be as good as what the iPhone 17 offers, not to mention that it has only one camera on the back.

The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max come with features that most people don’t need, quite frankly. So, choose wisely once the time comes.
