Most of us might associate HP with home computers or office workstations. But the company also has its gaming side. Over the years, we’ve seen HP release various computers, laptops, and computer gear related to gaming. This is why it doesn’t come as a surprise that at CES 2026 , HP is back with new OMEN-branded gaming computers , displays, and accessories.
Now, you might notice that the branding is a little different. Following HP’s acquisition of HyperX, the company is finally merging its brands together. This has resulted in a new lineup of HyperX OMEN branded gaming laptops and accessories.
HyperX OMEN MAX 16 gaming laptop

To start things off, HP has announced HyperX OMEN MAX 16 at CES 2026. This is a powerful gaming laptop with full internal cooling. According to the company, the laptop delivers up to 300W Total Platform Power. This is 50W and 20% more than the previous generation.
Under the hood, you’ll find next-generation Intel Core Ultra 200HX series processors or AMD Ryzen AI processors. These CPUs are paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU.
What makes this gaming laptop standout is its cooling system. HP redesigned the OMEN Tempest Cooling Pro with a third fan and Fan Cleaner technology that automatically improves cooling efficiency. This supposedly keeps performance steady even during intense gaming sessions. The keyboard is another standout feature, offering up to 4x faster polling rate compared to previous generations. Plus, you also get full-size arrow keys and customizable lighting effects through OMEN Light Studio.
The display is also configurable with up to a 16-inch OLED 240Hz WQXGA 500-nit screen. Also, seeing as how we can’t go a day without AI, HP has bundled the laptop with its own OMEN AI. This AI is supposed to help with FPS optimization with a one-click solution that adjusts operating system settings, hardware settings, and game settings automatically.
HyperX OMEN OLED 34 monitor

If you don’t need a gaming laptop, HP also unveiled the HyperX OMEN OLED 34. This is a 34-inch gaming monitor powered by V-stripe QD-OLED panel technology. This new display tech is said to deliver better picture quality and less text fringing compared to previous OLED monitors. The display features a 21:9 WQHD resolution, 360Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms response time.
For creators and multitaskers, the monitor includes HyperX ProLuma for professional-grade color precision. It also supports 100W USB-C power delivery, perfect for plugging in laptops, and a built-in KVM switch to switch between devices.
HP will also be including HyperX OLED CoreProtect and a three-year limited warranty that covers burn-in.
HyperX Clutch Tachi and brain-tracking headset
Last but not least, HP has announced the HyperX Clutch Tachi. This is HP’s first Xbox-licensed arcade controller . It features a leverless design with Magnetic Switches using TMR sensors for lightning-fast inputs. You can personalize your playstyle by adjusting button mapping, rapid trigger, and actuation in the NGENUITY software. The controller even supports 3D printing for custom button shapes or unique artwork for the top plate.
HP also announced a partnership with Neurable to develop a gaming headset with neurotechnology. This is supposed to help players improve their focus and accuracy by interpreting brain activity in real time. Unfortunately, the device is still in development, so we won’t be seeing it anytime soon.
