Huawei has scheduled an event for September 19th in Paris. The company may introduce the new Watch Ultimate 2 alongside the Watch GT6 series . This will arrive as a follow-up to the Watch Ultimate that debuted way back in 2023. Days ahead of the announcement, the Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 design has been revealed through render images . These show that it looks almost similar to the predecessor, but may have some upgrades.

Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 design in renders

The Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 renders, shared by Winfuture , show that it’ll be available in two colors, including a single-tone black option and a dual-tone blue shade. It features a large circular display with its name engraved on the dial. The right edge of the watch appears to house new sensors, whose uses are not clear immediately.

The Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 has three crowns in total, but only one appears to be rotatable, presumably for navigation. The report notes the smartwatch will sport a 48.5mm dial. The wearable reportedly bears the model number MCH-AL00.

A big battery upgrade

Reportedly, the new model could ship with a largely identical hardware configuration as the Watch Ultimate. However, the Watch Ultimate 2 may get a significantly larger battery in comparison to the original model, which features a 530mAh battery and promises up to 14 days of use. Lately, Huawei has been equipping its smartwatches with new silicon batteries, which might be the case with the upcoming model too, but we don’t know for certain yet.

Like its predecessor, the Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 may not be cheap. The leak notes that it could cost EUR 899 (~$1,063). For the price, you may get an AMOLED display, heart rate sensor, and other modern-day features you’d come to expect from a smartwatch.
