Inifnix has just announced a new smartphone , the NOTE Edge. This phone is only 7.2mm thick despite the fact it includes a 6,500mAh battery on the inside. Yes, the company used a silicon-carbon battery here.
This phone has been announced for global markets, in case you were wondering. MediaTek’s Dimensity 7100 SoC fuels the phone, while the device weighs only 185 grams. Once again, despite the battery capacity, and the fact that this is not a small phone.
The Infinix NOTE Edge comes in four color options
The Infinix NOTE Edge features a “3D curved” design with a “Pearl Light Ripple Shadow” exterior. It comes in Lunar Titanium, Shadow Black, Silk Green, and Stellar Blue colors. You can see all of them below, in that order.

The phone includes a 6.78-inch 1.5K (2644 x 1208) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness is at 4,500 nits, while the Gorilla Glass 7i protects the panel.
It ships with Android 16 out of the box
The phone includes 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 flash storage. It’s a dual SIM smartphone (2x nano SIM), while Android 16 comes pre-installed with XOS 16 installed on top of it. Infinix promises 3 major Android OS updates and 5 years of security patches.
Infinix offers 45W wired charging for that 6,500mAh battery, and 10W reverse charging as well. Do note that a charger is included in the retail box, as is a case for the device.
A 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8 aperture) is included on the back, while a 13-megapixel snapper (f/2.2 aperture) sits on the front. Stereo speakers are also included, as is Sound by JBL. The phone features an IR blaster and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The phone has a “self-repairing” battery
It is IP65 certified, while it measures 163.1 x 77.4 x 7.2mm. Connectivity is boosted by Infinix’s Ultra Power Signal (UPS) 3.0 AI technology. The company also claims that the battery utilizes a “self-repairing” system that uses dynamic recrystallization to maintain battery health.
This battery can retain over 80% of its capacity after 2,000 charge cycles. That equates to roughly six years of typical usage.
It’s priced at only $200
The Infinix NOTE Edge is priced at $200, though its pricing could vary from one market to the next.
