Did you know that Klipsch is turning 80 this year? Instead of taking it easy, Klipsch is going all in with a complete refresh of its powered speaker lineup. At CES 2026 , Klipsch unveiled The Fives II, The Sevens II, and The Nines II . These are the company’s latest speakers, which feature its signature sound with some upgrades under the hood.
Better Sound Through Better Engineering
So, what makes these Klipsch powered speakers different? For starters, Onkyo engineers have designed a completely brand new electronics package for all three models. Klipsch has also redesigned the acoustic system with a one-piece BMC baffle that integrates the company’s Tractrix horn. The company claims this setup spreads sound wider and delivers clearer bass, thanks to upgraded Jet Cerametallic woofers. The Fives II uses a 5.25-inch woofer, The Sevens II bumps up to 6.5 inches, and The Nines II tops out at 8 inches.
That one-piece baffle design isn’t just for looks, either. It’s apparently denser and more rigid than previous models. This helps cut down on unwanted vibrations. The curved shape also helps widen the soundstage by reducing diffraction, so you get a bigger, more immersive sound whether you’re watching movies or streaming music. The Nines II even includes XLR inputs, making it solid enough for home studio monitoring alongside your entertainment setup.
Easy Setup With Serious Features

Unlike computer or Bluetooth speakers that are easy to set up in seconds, setting up powered speakers is usually a little more complex. It usually involves dealing with complicated connections and manual tweaking. But Klipsch is changing that narrative. All three models come with HDMI 2.1, HDMI eARC, optical, coaxial, analog input, and USB-C playback. You can connect pretty much any source without hunting for adapters. There’s also a subwoofer output if you want even more bass.
The Sevens II and Nines II offer wireless connectivity between the left and right speakers, giving you more flexibility in where you place them. There are built-in controls via the redesigned top panel with metal controls, the Klipsch Connect Plus app, or the included backlit remote.
The Sevens II and Nines II include Dirac Live room correction with a mic in the box. After a quick scan through the Klipsch Connect Plus app, your speakers are calibrated to your specific room. This means no more fiddling around with the EQ manually. The Nines II goes even further with DTS:X support alongside Dolby Atmos, giving you more format options for immersive audio.
If you’re someone who streams music, these Klipsch powered speakers have you covered. It supports wireless options such as Google Cast , Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Roon Ready. There’s also hi-res playback up to 24-bit/96kHz.
Lastly, if you’re into vinyl, there’s a built-in phono stage on all three models, so you can plug in a turntable directly. Prices start at $1,399.99 for The Fives II, $1,999.99 for The Sevens II, and $2,399.99 for The Nines II. These new speakers are expected to launch in the Spring of 2026.
