Today, Motorola announced a special edition of its best-selling Motorola Razr. With the World Cup coming to North America this year, Motorola is introducing the Razr FIFA World Cup 26 Edition. This is part of the company’s Collections of Motorola Series, which is a “bold new expression of design and purpose that brings the spirit of the FIFA World Cup directly into the hands of fans.”
Motorola says that this device showcases how Motorola is redefining what it means to connect through sport, technology, and culture. This new limited edition will be available in February, where customers can pick it up from Motorola.com and a few other retailers. Keep in mind that this is the cheaper Razr and not the Razr Ultra, so it is going to be much cheaper, coming in at $699.
The Motorola Razr sports a 6.9-inch main display with a 3.6-inch cover display, both of which are high-refresh rate at 120Hz and 90Hz, respectively. This device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X, with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. There’s also a pretty hefty 4,500mAh capacity battery inside with 30W fast charging. It also has IP48 for dust and water protection.
The design of this special edition Razr is really unique. Of course, with the FIFA World Cup 26 logo on the back, it’s also using a bright, bold green shade which embodies the spirit of the game. Motorola has also customized the software on this version, with exclusive wallpapers, ringtones, and a FIFA Watermark for the camera that can be applied to photos taken with the device.
