A couple of days ago, the same tipster reported that the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra will arrive under a different name . He mentioned the ‘Motorola Signature’ branding for that device. There’s a good chance it won’t be just ‘Motorola Signature’, but it will be a part of that new series. We’re expecting a number or something else attached to it, but that’s just a wild guess. We’ll see.
It seems like the Motorola Signature branding will be reserved for the company’s flagship offerings. The ‘Edge’ name could remain for mid-range devices, such as the Motorola Edge 70 , which was announced recently.

As a reminder, we’ve recently revealed the design of the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra , before this name change came into the fold. Motorola will stick to its design philosophy with that device, which is not a bad thing.
We do not know when the device will launch, however. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra arrived in April 2024, while its successor was never announced. Considering that, and this name change, anything is possible.
Motorola could announce the phone in Q1 2026, or perhaps the company will wait until April again. We’ll have to wait for more information in order to be able to provide a more accurate launch window.
