Motorola is planning to announce its first book-style foldable soon. The Motorola Razr Fold will be its name, based on the information shared by Evan Blass on X. Considering the source, and the included image, it’s safe to say it’s happening.

If you check out the image below, you’ll see the marketing material that the tipster included. It clearly mentioned the name of the device, along with some other things. No specs, though.
The image states that the phone is “coming later this year”, and that it will offer “brilliant displays, intelligent AI, and an advanced, boundary-breaking camera system.” The last bullet point says that more details will be revealed in the “coming months.”
The Motorola Signature will launch in a couple of days
Some of you may know that Motorola is hosting an event for the Motorola Signature launch in a couple of days. It’s on January 6 or 7, depending on your time zone. Is it possible that Motorola plans to confirm the Razr Fold there and reveal some details? Well, yes.
We’re still not sure if it will be happening, of course. Perhaps the company plans to save all that information for an event later this year. We’ll just have to wait and see. Either way, we’ll get at least one new Motorola phone soon.
Motorola has announced quite a few ‘Razr’ foldable devices thus far, but all of them were clamshells. This will be the first book-style foldable from the company, which, on its own, makes it very exciting.
