The MSI MPG 272QRF X36 gaming monitor features a 27-inch WQHD display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a 360Hz refresh rate. The G-SYNC Pulsar utilizes variable frequency backlight strobing to deliver 4x effective motion clarity alongside the “tear-free experience” of G-SYNC Variable Refresh Rate.
The monitor also includes G-SYNC Ambient Adaptive Technology. It automatically adjusts color temperature and brightness using a built-in light sensor. Whether in a dimly lit room or a sunlit environment, the display adapts in real-time to minimize eyestrain and maintain consistent visual clarity. It also offers low-latency HDR, like all G-SYNC monitors.

On the other hand, MSI is announcing support for the upcoming AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D processor at CES 2026. If you have an MSI AM5 motherboard, the new processor will fit perfectly into your current build. The company is also unveiling its new AM5 motherboard, MEG X870E UNIFY-MAX, at CES 2026. This is built for the Ryzen 7 9850X3D processor and features a specialized 2-DIMM layout. There’s a dedicated overclocking chip, OC Engine.
The motherboard features a heavy-duty 18+2+1 power phase that ensures the processor gets stable power even under heavy loads. MSI is adding a Direct Touch Cross Heat-pipe and double-sided EZ M.2 Shield Frozr II. There’s a dedicated Tuning Controller that lets you adjust CPU and memory frequencies directly within the OS. The motherboard gets five PCIe Gen5 x4 M.2 SSD slots. You also get Wi-Fi 7 and 5G LAN.
Through MSI’s intuitive CLICK BIOS X, users gain access to advanced optimization tools such as Latency Killer and High-Efficiency Mode.
