blink 2k mini - 1

The lineup consists of the Blink Outdoor 2K Plus, the Blink Mini 2K Plus, and the Blink Arc. The Outdoor 2K Plus is priced at just $90, while the smaller Mini 2K Plus starts at $50. To put that into perspective, you can get crystal clear 2K video without breaking the bank or calling in a professional installer.

Starting with the Blink Outdoor 2K Plus, the camera comes with 2K video resolution. This is a big step up from the older 1080p models. There’s also 4x zoom, better low-light performance, and two-way audio with noise cancellation. The camera can detect people and vehicles. However, you’ll need a Blink Subscription Plus plan for those smart notifications. The Blink Mini 2K Plus brings the same 2K quality to a compact plug-in design, perfect for indoor use.

blink arc - 2

The Blink Arc is something completely different. It’s a mount that combines two Blink Mini 2K Plus cameras into one unit. This results in a seamless 180-degree panoramic view of your yard or living room.

The Arc solves a common problem with home security cameras. Instead of switching between multiple camera feeds, you get everything in a single view. The cameras stitch together automatically using AI to create one wide shot. It’s powered from a single source and mounts from one point, which keeps installation simple.

Is a subscription required?

All the new Blink cameras work without a subscription. If all you’re after is straightforward video capture, it’s fine. However, having Blink Subscription Plus unlocks additional features. One of those is smart notifications, like we mentioned above. The Blink Arc also needs a subscription if you want to take advantage of its 180-degree panoramic view, which we think is kind of ridiculous.

The basic Blink subscription plan runs at $3 a month for one device. Then there is the Subscription Plus plan which costs $10 a month for unlimited devices.
